The apartment has a large west facing balcony offering plenty of space for dining outside and enjoying the views over the resort and towards the mountains and the setting sun. Outside the apartment the resort boasts lush landscaped gardens and three 20m+ pools with plenty of space around each of them to relax and sunbath on the provided sun beds. Parasols are also provided. Two pools are for swimming and each features its own large jacuzzi spa, whilst the third is shallow and is for children to enjoy. A fourth small paddling pool is also available for children. Well lit walkways, with ramp access, guide you around the resort when heading to one of the outdoor pools, or the giant chess board or reception.

Changeover day
This is flexible, please enquire about your preferred dates. Standard check in time is from 4pm and check out time is 11am. Flexibility on these timings can sometimes be offered although any changes must be agreed in advance.

Notes on accommodation
Presented to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings in keeping with the resort and the facilities that are available on site. Quality bedlinen and towels are provided as standard. These will all be changed and the property cleaned at the mid point of your holiday if staying over 7 nights. A welcome basket providing some basic essentials will be provided on arrival as standard to help settle you straight into your holiday. All rooms benefit from air-conditioning although we ask that this is used considerately. Families with small children are well catered for. Essential items such as high chairs, travel cots, stair gates and holiday strollers are all available to hire if required. No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the property but you are free to smoke outside on the balcony. A detailed file providing information about the on site and local amenities and attractions is provided in the apartment for your reference. Further information is also available from reception.
Accessibility
The apartment is not specifically adapted for accessibility but the resort has full ramp access at ground level and lift access to all floors so all areas can be easily reached without the need for assistance.

Coast/Beach
Just 1km from the coast, the apartment is well placed for access to a number of blue flag (awarded for cleanliness, water quality & safety) municipal beaches in the region. With easy access by car you can explore Phinikoudes, the main palm tree lined beach in Larnaca flanked by restaurants and cafes, McKenzie beach, Meneou (popular with wind and kite surfers) or Faros beach near Pervolia. All have good facilities and a range of water sports on offer.
Golf
The nearest golf course to The Grove Spa Resort is Vikla Golf & Country Club which is easily accessible by car and will take approximately 40 mins to get to. Other courses accessible from Mazotos are Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills and Tsada. The construction of a new PGA standard course in neighbouring Tersefanou is under way and is expected to take 18 months to build.
Skiing
Cyprus is one of the few places that during the winter months you can ski in the morning and sun yourself by the pool in the afternoon. Although facilities are fairly limited and the runs are short you can ski at Mount Olympus during the winter (conditions permitting).
Travel
The main international airport at Larnaca is just 15 minutes away (15km) and is easily accessible by car or taxi, so hire car is not essential if staying within the resort but necessary if you wish to explore further afield. Paphos airport is also an option as this is just over 1 hour drive (80km) away along the motorway. Plenty of hire car options or taxi transfers are available.
Distances
Mazotos village is just 5 minutes walk away and has a few small shops and taverns. Neighbouring villages of Kiti, Pervolia and Meneou are all just 10 minutes drive away and offer a good selection of shops and restaurants.
The nearest large supermarket, Orphanides, is just 8km away in Kiti.
Larnaca and the famous palm-lined Phinikoudes bustling with shops and restaurants is just 15 mins (17km) away. Limasol is just 45km away and the divided capital Nicosia is just 60km away.

Mazotos is a traditional village away from the bustle of Larnaca. Ideally located for those looking to escape and relax. The beaches around Larnaca are just a short drive away. Larnaca also offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars and family entertainment options. More traditional options can be found in the neighbouring villages. Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking (full payment if booking within 6 weeks of your holiday), with the balance payable not less than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. In addition to this, a refundable breakages/damages deposit of €200 is required with all bookings, payable with the balance and refunded within 10 days of departure, less any deductions for losses, damage or breakages. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Ocean View Villa, Pervolia, is a great place for a holiday. It is very easy to get to via Larnaca airport and offers a high standard of accommodation. Good beaches are within easy reach both on foot or by car.
It is well placed away from the bustle of the tourist areas so offers much sought after peace and quiet but other places are within easy reach if you want them.
