Our second home is decorated and furnished to an excepional high standard with bright airy rooms and random stone floor tiling throughout. It is designed on 2 levels, the ground floor housing a twin bedroom and shower room and a very spacious open plan kitchen diner and lounge which opens onto the private roman tiled pool. The internal marble and wrought iron rotunda stairwell lead up to the vaulted master and 2nd twin bedrooms both en-suite with balconies. The large landscaped garden is lush with fruit trees bougainvillea and bird of paradise.

| Other: | Meet and Greet service when you arrive at Paphos airport. A welcome pack is also provided free of charge. Santorini villa is cleaned on a weekly basis plus Linen change. |

Services include: All luxury crisp bedlinen, duvets and pillows (2 per person) Luxury bath towels not for pool use please provide your own. Pool and garden maintenance. The pool is cleaned twice weekly in the early morning so as not to disturb you. |
Notes on accommodation
All rooms have ceiling fans air conditioning/heating with remote control. The air-conditioning is chargeable at €5 per day per unit payable locally to our rep. The villa also benefits from solar water heating and an immersion heater for the winter months. There is also a traditional wood burning fire in the lounge. Santorini is redecorated at the begining of every year so as to keep it looking at its best.

Outside
Private Roman ended tiled swimming pool with entry steps and hand rail for easy access and exit ladder set in beautiful gardens. The outside non slip tiled area around the pool is sunny all day and provided with 6 sun loungers on wheels and reclining chairs. The garden has a large wooden dining table and chairs with huge umbrella for outside dining set amongst fruit trees bougainvillea and bird of paradise there is also a pool side shower. We kindly request that all guest use the shower to rinse off tanning products before using the pool. At the side of the villa is a drive to park your car, mopeds or beach buggies which you can hire locally.
Coast/Beach
Numerous sandy beaches are a 5 minute drive away and boats with skippers available to hire for the day to take you to secluded sandy coves. We would recommend Geriskipou beach a 5 mins drive away through the village. This is a lovely sandy beach with loungers and brollies for hire. Shallow sea for 50 yards so very safe for children. Water sports, restaurants and clean toilets. There is also a large lawned area for sunbathing with loungers if you prefer this to the beach.
Golf
Aphrodite Hills: Situated 300 metres high overlooking the Mediterranean, only 20km from Paphos. This is the latest 18 hole championship course to the island with challenging greens and breathtaking views.
Secret Valley: Located 18km east of Paphos near the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite. It lies in a scenic valley with grand trees and beautiful natural rock formations. 18 holes of championship golf in a spectacular setting.
Tsada Golf Club: Tsada is set in the grounds of a 12th century monastery in a gentle valley. Situated on the outskirts of Paphos on an altitude of 550 metres above sea level ensuring cool breezes.
All of these golf courses are situated half an hours drive from Santorini villa.
Skiing
The Troodos mountains are an hours drive away where you can ski during the winter months.
Travel
Airports; Paphos is 10 mins drive away and Larnaca an hour and a half away. Although only a short drive away please be assured that the villa is not in the flight path, all flights fly in over the sea.
Distances
Harbour and nightlife is 7 minutes by car although local shops and tavernas are a downhill ten minute walk away.
Further details
Geriskipou village is known for its association with the goddess Aphrodite. It has a beautiful tourist beach, an interesting folk museum and a fine church, Agia Paraskevi. The Byzantine church dates from the 10th century and is also one of the most unusual on the island, having five domes. The three domes over the nave intersect with two over the aisles to form a cross. Some of the decorations over the altar date fro the ninth century. Most of the paintings are of a later period.
The village is also famed for producing some of the best "loukoumi" Turkish Delight in the country. Geroskipou Folk Art Museum was named after the sacred garden of Aphrodite. Folk art and crafts are exhibited in the beautiful Chatzismith house. Savvas Pottery where you can have a guided tour of the factory and buy some really individual and unique pieces. Geriskipou is centred around the village square where there are numerous tavernas. The village also benefits from a bakery, banks, and small grocers stores.
