Villa Manzara was designed and built to accommodate comfortably up to 13 people, but smaller groups also feel very much at home. There are uninterrupted views down the valleys (which are forestry planted) to the sea and Kyrenia in the distance. The crusader castle of St Hilarion, and the Kyrenia mountain range tower behind. On the East side of the villa there is a shaded terrace with outdoor dining for 12. The large pool deck surrounding the 14x6m overflow pool, has a pergola at the Western end, with BBQ, bar and outside shower. The shaded courtyard at the entrance to the villa, entered from the front terrace, and the terrace above,give shade all day long and the space for privacy for large parties. The outside furniture is all Turkish designed; 8 sun loungers and 6 'steamer' chairs, the dining table and chairs. As well as mains water, there is a private fresh water well, which provides the irrigation for the garden, and an alternative addition to the house supply.

Notes on prices
Prices are for for 8 people per week. £50 supplement Per Person for more than 8 people, per week. Price is inclusive of services, welcome pack, mid week change of linen and towels, and clean.
Long winter lets available @ £350 per week, (services not included).
Changeover day
Preferred changover day is Saturday, but we can be flexible out of peak times. We ask guests to vacate by 1000. The villa will be prepared and ready with a welcome pack (beers, wine,bread,fruit,cheese,eggs,milk,tea etc) by 4pm, and lit for late arrivals.

| Living Rooms: | The large arched living room, running the width of the villa, has 2 sofas and arm chair seating for 8. The inside dining for 12 leads to kitchen. Open fire place. Space for third fold up bed. Digital sky, TV DVD video. Cosy and yet spacious. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen, towels, etc included. Beach towels must be brought. Weekly change of linen, and cleaning included. Maid service and pre prepared meals can be arranged from local restaurant. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully air conditioned, and for winter centrally heated. There are also ceiling fans throughout. Each room is double glazed. The marble floors on the ground floor, and ceramic tiles in the bedrooms, provide coolness throughout the summer. Safe for children. The cool breeze up the mountain from the sea during the day, and off the mountain at night ensures the inside temperature rarely exceeds 28 degrees C.
The villa is not suitable for wheelchair access.

Outside
'Manzara' (Turkish for view) is set within 1/2 acre of landscaped garden. There is only one villa (40m) within 400m. Forestry terraces in front, and steep terraces of olive trees and plantation are behind. 14x6m Pool private, floodlit and silent. Privacy and seclusion are assured.But, driving to the coast is a mere 15 mins!! The fully equiped BBQ, outside shower and bar are at the Western end of the pool deck terrace where there is a shaded pergola. The garden and terraces have been landscaped and planted with local shrubs and fruit trees irrigated by the fresh water well, to achieve maximum colour and scent year round. There are eight cushioned wooden sun longers and six 'steamer' chairs. There are three large sun shades arond the pool. An underground garage has parking for two vehicles and space for a third in front.
Coast/Beach
Manzara is 10 mins drive to the coast. The many coved beaches run to the West, off the main strip, where there are water sports (banana boats, jet/water-skiing, etc), and then to the East, beyond Kyrenia. The extraordinary world of Turtle conversation the 'Carpaz'(pan handle) literally miles of golden beaches, complete solitude, and local food to die for. Waves and azure sea, calm paddling for children. The tip of the island is a two hour drive. The crusader castles en-route take longer.
Special interest holidays
Walking in the spring, with the flowers abounding, orchids are a particular local feature of the unique flora and fauna, with guided tours and walks organised by a local restaurant. The 'Follow Me', 1.5km from the villa.
Travel
The TRNC airport is Ercan. Distance to Manzara is 50 mins. Transfers to and from Ercan and car hire are easily arranged.
Transfers from Larnaca, the Greek side of the island, are also available,and car hire, easily organised. A car is essential to be able to enjoy all that is available.
Distances
Karaman - 1km - village shop, old church, pub and bar
Edremit - 1 1/2 km - local shops, old church. Three local restaurants within 1 km. Kyrenia 8 km. The historic town of Nicosia (Lefcosa) is 25km. The beautiful floodlit ruined abbey at Bellapais (10km) is a must with many restaurants and the famous 'Tree of Idleness'.
Karaoglanaoglu is 3km, a 10 minute drive down the mountain.

Karaoglanaoglu (10 mins) has supermarkets,(open on Sundays) local shops, garage and many restaurants, covering all types of cuisine. International ATM At the Jasmine Court Hotel, 5km en route to Kyrenia. The wealth of history and places of interest covered in villa info pack. Apart from all water sports, para gliding from St Hilarion is spectacular!!
Booking notes
A non returnable deposit of 25% of the holiday cost is payable as confirmation of the holiday booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. There is a 'breakage bond' of £200 payable at the same time returned within 2 weeks after the end of your holiday.
