Sunrise Beach Club was completed in 2005 and sets new standards for holiday complexes in North Cyprus. Facilities on site include a cafe/bar, three overflow swimming pools, a childrens' pool, and mini gym. The site is two miles from the small fishing village of Bogaz, where there are bars, restaurants, and supermarket. Many superb beaches nearby, including the turtle beaches on Karpaz Peninsula. The apartment is on the first floor with views from all rooms and air-conditioning is provided. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a huge covered balcony with sea views. North Cyprus has been bypassed by mass tourism. It is virtually crime free, English is spoken almost everywhere, and the climate is superb. Driving is a pleasure, and also on our side (left) of the road!

Outside
The site has lovely landscaped gardens, with loungers and umbrellas. There are three large heated overflow swimming pools, and a children's pool.
Parking is available next to the apartment.
The large covered balcony is where you will have most of your meals, and offers areas of shade for much of the day.
Coast/Beach
The site has its own basic beach. Bogaz (2 miles) has a choice of beaches, and Famagusta Bay beyond Bogaz is one long beach. The best beaches on the island are about half an hours' drive to the north-east, on the Karpaz Peninsula. Some of these are home to nesting Loggerhead Turtles. Sea temperature is 23 -27 degrees from June to October.
Golf
A new 18 hole championship golf course opened at Esentepe in September 2006. It is about 50 minutes from the apartment, with green fees from around £40.
Special interest holidays
Scuba diving is available in Bogaz. Waters are beautifully clear and warm. There is an abundance of marine life, and wrecks to explore.
Travel
The easiest route is to Larnaca airport in the south, with flights from lots or regional UK airports. BA have some competitive prices from Heathrow. The apartment is about 90 minutes' drive from Larnaca, and either hire a car at the airport (we can offer suggestions), or a taxi transfer direct to Bogaz can be pre-booked for £40 per travelling party. You can also fly to North Cyprus, but options are limited. Try Pegasus Airlines from Stansted.

Further details
It is now easy to cross the border between North and South Cyprus, but note that cars hired in the north are not allowed to cross the border. Bar/restaurant on site, and a choice of six restaurants/bars in nearby Bogaz, where there is also a supermarket.
Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. Balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, together with a £100 key/damage deposit, which will be refunded within 14 days of return.
