Sunrise Beach Club is a superb small holiday complex providing all the essentials for a great holiday - three swimming pools, childrens' pool and bar/cafe. There are great beaches nearby and the picturesque fishing village of Bogaz is 2 miles away. North Cyprus is unspoilt compared to most of the Mediterranean and can cater for all tastes. There are many historical sites, empty beaches, good shopping, and excellent food and drink. English is spoken nearly everywhere and you drive on the left. Your money will go further in 2010 as it is outside the eurozone. It is now easy to cross the border from South to North Cyprus. Easyjet and many charterflights go to Larnaca. The first floor apartment is air conditioned and makes the most of its position with sea views to the side and mountain views to the rear. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard and includes a huge balcony with provision for outdoor dining and sun bathing.

Outside
The site has lovely landscaped gardens, with loungers and umbrellas. There are three large overflow swimming pools, and a children's pool. Parking is available next to the apartment. The large covered balcony is where you will have most of your meals and offers areas of shade for much of the day.

Coast/Beach
Bogaz has a choice of beaches, and Famagusta Bay beyond Bogaz is one long beach. The best beaches on the island are about half an hours' drive to the north-east, on the Karpaz Peninsula. Some of these are home to nesting Loggerhead Turtles. Sea temperature is 23 -27 degrees from June to October.

Golf
An 18 hole championship golf course is situated about 40 minutes from the apartment, with green fees from around £40.

Special interest holidays
Scuba diving is available in Bogaz. Waters are beautifully clear and warm. There is an abundance of marine life, and wrecks to explore.

Travel
The easiest route is to Larnaca airport in the south, with flights from lots or regional UK airports, including Easyjet from Gatwick. The apartment is about 75 minutes' drive from Larnaca, and either hire a car at the airport (we can offer suggestions), or a taxi transfer direct to Bogaz can be pre-booked for £45 per travelling party. You can also fly to Ercan (40 minutes from the apartment) in North Cyprus from Birmingham, Manchester, and London.

Distances
Bogaz 2 miles. Several restaurants, including some next to the water. Large Lemar supermarket on the edge of the village.
Salamis Roman ruins 6 miles.
Famagusta 13 miles. Historic town, churches, museum, shops, and nightlife.
Kyrenia 50 miles. Delightful Venetian harbour, some of the best shops on the island.
Nicosia. The capital, which is divided into Turkish and Greek sectors.
Karpaz Peninsula. The most traditional part of the island, sparsely populated, but with stunning beaches.

Further details
It is now easy to cross the border between North and South Cyprus, but note that cars hired in the north are not allowed to cross the border. Car hire is essential. Cafe/bar on site, and a choice of six restaurants/bars in nearby Bogaz, where there is also a supermarket. There is 24 hour on-site management to help with any property issues and to offer advice on where to go etc.

Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. Balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, together with a £100 key/damage deposit, which will be refunded within 14 days of return.
