Notes on prices
Available all year round for both short and long term lets. Daily rates available on request. Weekend rates Fri-Sun from £150. All prices are in GBP, although payment can be made in Euros if preferred. BACS payment is preferred but cheques are also accepted. Please note: restaurant, shop, gym, tennis and spa facilities are not yet available.
Changeover day
This is flexible, please enquire about your preferred dates. Check in from 4pm, vacate by 11am. Any changes must be agreed in advance.

Notes on accommodation
Presented to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings in keeping with the 5 star resort and the extra facilities that are available on site. Quality bedlinen and towels are provided as standard. These will all be changed and the property cleaned at the mid point of your holiday if staying over 7 nights. All rooms benefit from air-conditioning although we ask that this is used considerately. Families with small children are well catered for. Essential items such as high chairs, travel cots, are available at no extra cost. No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the property but you are free to smoke outside on the balcony. A detailed file providing information about the on site and local amenities and attractions is provided in the apartment for your reference.
Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the first floor. The apartment is not specifically adapted for accessibility but the resort has full ramp access at ground level so all areas can be easily reached without the need for assistance. Please advise of any access requirements when booking.
Outside
The balcony area is covered and consists of a table with 4 chairs and external balcony lights. The resort boasts lush, landscaped gardens and three over 20 metre pools with plenty of space around them to relax and sunbathe on the provided sun beds. Parasols are also provided. Two pools are for swimming and each features its own large Jacuzzi spa, whilst the third is shallow and is for children to enjoy. A fourth small paddling pool is also available for children. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available. Well lit walkways, with ramp access guide you around the resort when heading to one of the pools or the TV room screens sporting events and films, whilst the more energetic can hire bikes.
Coast/Beach
Just 1 kilometre from the coast, the apartment is well placed for access to a number of blue flag (awarded for cleanliness, water quality and safety) municipal beaches in the region. With easy access by car you can explore Phinikoudes, the main palm tree lined beach in Larnaca flanked by restaurants and cafes, McKenzie beach, Meneou (popular with wind and kite surfers) or Faros beach near Pervolia. All have good facilities and a range of water sports on offer.
Golf
The nearest golf course to The Grove Spa Resort is Vikla Golf & Country Club which is easily accessible by car and will take approximately 40 mins to get to. Other courses accessible from Mazotos are Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills and Tsada. The construction of a new PGS standard course in neighbouring Tersefanou is due to start in January 2011 and is expected to take 18 months to build.
Skiing
Cyprus is one of the few places that you can ski in the morning and sun yourself by the pool in the afternoon. Although facilities are fairly limited and the runs are short, you can ski at Mount Olympus in the winter.
Special interest holidays
Are you an Advanced PADI Diver? You may be interested in diving Zenobia, one of the top ten wreck dives in the world. This is just off Larnaca bay. Local villages up the mountain side offer some unique local experiences. Kikkos monastery is outstanding. The old ruins at Paphos and Kourion are both excellent. Larnaca boasts an excellent marina for sailing enthusiasts. Cycling is becoming ever more popular.
Travel
The main international airport at Larnaca is just 15 minutes away (15 kilometres) and is easily accessible by car or taxi so a hire car is not essential if staying within the resort, but necessary if you wish to explore further afield. Paphos airport is also an option, as this is just over 1 hour drive (80 kilometres) away along the motorway. Plenty of hire car options or taxi transfers are available.
Distances
Mazotos village is just 5 minutes walk away and has a few small shops and taverns. There is a bank with an ATM opposite the resort. The nearby towns of Kiti and Pervolia are a short drive away offering further amenities including 24 hour bakeries, doctors, pharmacies and a selection of good quality restaurants and tavernas. Neighbouring villages of Kiti, Pervolia and Meneou are all only 10 minutes drive away and offer a good selection of shops and restaurants.

Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking (full payment if booking within 6 weeks of your holiday), with the balance payable not less than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. In addition to this, a refundable breakages/damages deposit of £200 is required with all bookings, payable with the balance and refunded within 10 days of departure less any deductions for losses, damage or breakages.

We've been married for 25 years and have 3 children. David is a Project Director and Heather cares for Children and young adults with special needs. We love Cyprus and can't wait to return each year to relax in the sun, slow down the pace of life and dine on Greek cuisine. We equip and look after our properties to the highest standards, and most of our visitors similarly can't wait to return. David particularly enjoys diving in the warm Mediterranean sea, whilst Heather soaks up the sun and stocks up on the local wine.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The Grove Spa resort, Mazotos oozes the quality and facilities that you would expect to find at a 5 star holiday resort. It is fair to say that there is a shortage of such accommodation of this standard. It is easy to get to from Larnaca airport and is situated in a quiet town away from the madding crowds. Beaches are nearby also worth a trip to the camel park. Mazotos is central enough for day tripping to Limassol, The Troodos Mountains, Larnaca and Nicosia.The construction of a new PGS standard course in neighbouring Tersefanou is due to start in January 2011 and is expected to take 18 months to build.
