The spacious garden area with over 20 mature olive trees has been landscaped with numerous plants and fruit trees.The quiet village of Ozankoy is set in the foothills of the Besparmak mountains and within walking distance of the famous village of Bellapais.Ozankoy has a few small grocery shops and several good restaurants to sample in the evening. Lemar supermarket is a short drive away. Kyrenia with its stunning harbour area is only 5-10 mins drive away. Whether you are looking for beautiful beaches,walking on quiet rural trails and enjoying the Cyprus flora and fauna or exploring medieval castles and archeological sites the villa is well positioned for a memorable holiday.

Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Saturday but we try to be flexible at off peak times. We ask guests to vacate the villa by 11.00am on departure day. The villa will be prepared and ready for you by 4.00pm on arrival day. There will be a welcome pack awaiting you.

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are air conditioned. The villa has full central heating and an open log fire for the cooler winter times.
Electricity: An allowance of 350 units per week is included within the rental price which should be plentiful for normal consumption. However, during periods of heavy usage, for example during heatwave conditions that often prevail during the peak summer months when the air conditioning units might be operated for abnormally long periods, then any excess units will be charged at cost and deducted from the breakage bond monies.
Outside
The villa is set in nearly 1 acre of gardens with over 20 olive trees and has been landscaped with numerous plants and fruit trees. The private overflow swimming pool is 12mx6m with ample sunbathing areas around with sunbeds and parasols. There is a BBQ and a well proportioned courtyard area for al fresco eating. Roof top terrace area over the garage and other terrace areas ensures you find sun or shade whichever you want whatever the time of day.
Coast/Beach
There are several small beaches just a short drive away. Acalpulco beach is approx 10mins drive away. It is a beautiful sandy beach owned by the holiday complex who make an entrance charge for their facilities. A little further on is Turtle beach; an unspoilt sandy beach with only a small restaurant offering facilities. West of Kyrenia are numerous beaches from which to choose-most make a small entrance charge for sunbeds etc. On the Karpaz in the east are stunning beaches, mostly deserted.
Golf
There is a golf course recently completed in Esenteppe and is now open. Esenteppe is approx 25 minutes drive from the villa.
Travel
Ercan airport in the north is approx 40 minutes drive away. Free transfers available with car hire.
Larnaca airport in the south is approx 90 minutes away. Transfers arranged for a small charge with car hire.
To make the most of a holiday in North Cyprus we believe that car hire is essential.
Distances
The villa is on the outskirts of Kyrenia (Girne in Turkish) with its shops, famous venetian harbour and numerous restaurants.
Nicosia (Lefkosa in Turkish) is just under 30 minutes drive away with plentiful shops and historical sites of interest.
Further details
North Cyprus is about exploring its many attractions and therefore car hire is considered essential.
If you enjoy eating out, there is an abundance of restaurants of all styles and prices to suit all tastes and budgets.

Booking notes
A non returnable deposit of 20% of the holiday cost is payable at time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. A refundable "breakage bond" of £150, to cover damage/breakages, is also payable with the final balance. Assuming no damage/breakages the bond is returned to you 1 week after the end of your holiday, less any charge for excess electricity (please see "Notes on Accommodation" above).
