This luxurious air-conditioned villa with a 8x 4 metre overflow pool is set in large established gardens with fruit trees, vines and fragrant plants. On the ground floor, there is a large open plan living room/kitchen, with wood burner, opening on to a covered veranda with dining table and chairs and sofa. There is also a double (en-suite) bedroom, two further twin bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom can be found on the first floor. This room has a large terrace with sunbeds and superb views of the Besparmak mountains and historic Bellapais Abbey. Facilities include air-conditioning in all bedrooms and fan heaters for winter evenings. Mini CD Players/ipod docking station, mobile phone, hair dryers and washing machine. Outside in the well maintained gardens, there are two additional dining areas, barbecue, sun loungers, umbrellas and shaded canopied area. A welcome pack is provided on arrival, and a management team is on hand in the event of any difficulties.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday. However, we try to be flexible whenever possible. To make sure everything is ready for you the earliest time for arrival is 4.00 pm, please leave the villa by 12.00 noon on your last day.

Notes on accommodation
Beyaz Ev is situated within an old olive grove and is within walking distance of the village shops and restaurants. It is an ideal base for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. There are many beautiful beaches a short drive away and wonderful walks in the mountains. Car hire is recommended. A welcome pack is provided which will enable you to make a snack/meal appropriate to the time of your arrival.
Accessibility
There are steps leading into the villa and to the pool and terraces but the majority of the accommodation throughout is on one level apart from one bedroom which is situated upstairs.
Outside
The villa has its own 8x4 m horizon overflow pool with extensive, canopied, terraces set in large landscaped gardens with banana, lemon, orange, fig and olive trees. Steps lead to a separate. large barbecue terrace with a traditional stone built barbecue, dining table, chairs and parasol. Shady areas can be found throughout the gardens where you can enjoy a snooze out of the mid-day sun. On the first floor is a lovely calico shaded terrace, with beautiful views of Bellapais and its historic Abbey, the mountains and the sea.
Coast/Beach
There are many sandy beaches along the coast of Northern Cyprus with the nearest only a 5 minute drive away. The beautiful azure waters of the Mediterranean are perfect for swimming, water sports, sailing and diving. The Turtle conservation project can be reached by car in 15 minutes, where, during August, you can accompany the students and watch Loggerhead turtles hatching.
Golf
There is an international standard golf course and driving range within a 15 minute drive. The views of the sea from the club house are spectacular.
Special interest holidays
In February to May every year you can do organised walks to see the wild orchids of Cyprus. Ask for further information. The villa is a good base for walking the Kyrenia Mountain Trail.
Travel
There are daily flights to Cyprus from most UK airports. The nearest airport is Ercan, Northern Cyprus - approximately 20 minutes transfer time, alternatively you can travel into Larnaca airport in Southern Cyprus -transfer time approximately 90 minutes. We are happy to organise transfers and car hire for you, please ask for details and costs.
Distances
The village of Ozankoy is a 15 minute walk and offers a good selection of restaurants as well as an excellent butcher (Kasap) & village stores. Beautiful Bellapais, with its Abbey and stunning views of Kyrenia, is a 10 minute drive up the mountains. The town of Kyrenia sits snugly beneath the 'Five Finger' mountain range here you will find the most beautiful, horseshoe shaped harbour and Byzantine castle.
Further details
Our welcome pack includes fresh local eggs and bread. There is an excellent supermarket within walking distance - so you don't have to go far for basics. You can dine in a selection of local restaurants all within easy walking distance. Kyrenia and its' beautiful horseshoe shaped harbour is a short drive away.
Booking notes
Our villa is managed by a local English couple. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the remainder due 8 weeks before departure. £100 returnable bond against breakages, damage or extra cleaning, refunded to you one week after the end of your holiday. Payment can be via personal cheque to a UK address or into a UK bank account.

About the owner
We fell in love with in Northern Cyprus in 1999, and were lucky to buy a villa in 2004 and watch it being built over the next 12 months.
We spend as much time as we can there - when we can get time away from work in the UK.
We do not make a profit from our rentals, we purely let it out to help cover our villa running costs ie pool & garden and property maintenance.
Every year we upgrade or replace items to ensure that our guests enjoy the standard of accommodation that they would have at home.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Ozankoy is a lovely, little village situated at the foot of the mountains just below Bellapais. We consider the location perfect - a quiet area close to local shops, bank and restaurants - but within 10 minutes drive to Kyrenia, and local beaches.
Transfers from Ercan are easy - with the journey only taking around 20 mins.
