This lovely 4-bedroom villa is located in a quiet area between Paphos and Coral Bay area, on the edge of Kissonerga village, surrounded by the sub-tropical banana plantations. The villa is secluded from any other properties as it is located within a field of 5,000 sq. metres. Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour.

A separate guest cloakroom.
First floor are 2 double bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms. Both with a balcony overlooking the pool area across to the sea.
Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, Separate WC.
Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Living Rooms: The ground floor consists of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area is comfortably furnished and entertainment is provided by the satellite TV (limited channels), DVD player and stereo system. There is a small dining table seating 6.
Other: A safety deposit box is available.

Notes on accommodation
Each of the bedrooms and the living area is equipped with an air conditioning unit for both cooling and heating. A baby cot, highchair and stair gate can be provided on request.

Accessibility
Wheelchair friendly - two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor each with en suite facilities. As there are minimal steps from the ground floor to the pool terrace/gardens and the pool has walk in steps (with hand rail) this property is suitable for those with mobility difficulties but who are able to manage some steps. It is not suitable for those permanently confined to a wheelchair as there are no internal widened doorways, handrails in bathrooms etc.

Outside
Plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs are provided on the large veranda that surrounds the large 10m x 5m private swimming pool and a built in barbecue with outdoor sink provides the perfect opportunity for outdoor dining in those warm and peaceful summer evenings.

Coast/Beach
Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, water sports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. Further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay.

Golf
There are 3 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course within approximately 30 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays
Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, water sports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a water park and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park.

Distances
Set approximately 2 kilometres inland is the residential village with a bank, chemist, two coffee shops, a small high class restaurant and even an English style pub!

Further details
Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour. The main beach for the Kissonerga area is the small sandy cove at Vardas Beach approximately 700 metres away which is great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent and a small selection of watersports are available in the summer months.
Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff, is the main administrative centre and residential district and Kato Pafos, by the sea, built around the harbour and medieval port is the main tourist area.
Although car hire is highly recommended for all our villas to help you make the most of your stay, there is a bus service that connects Kissonerga with Paphos town and the sandy beach at Coral Bay.

Hawkins June 2009. We came to Paphos for our son's wedding. The villa was superb, more than we expected, as we had two mums in their mid 80's and another son 34!
