St Christopher’s Gardens are located in the traditional Cypriot village of Anafotia/Anafotida, approximately 20 minutes inland by car from Larnaca airport. The journey to this development couldn't be more stunning, as you leave the motorway you are surrounded by the beauty of the Cypriot countryside and rolling mountains in which, during the winter months, you can spend the day skiing! Cyprus offers 300 odd days of sunshine a year. Once you reach the village you are captivated by its tradition and soon realise you have come to a special place. The development is built on the outskirts of the village within 500m of all its amenities. Anafotia may be small but it has everything to cater for your needs.

Outside
Communal sun-bathing area around the shared pool (unheated). The pool is only shared by 14 apartments.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful sandy beaches are to be found within 6km of the resort.
Many unspoilt, uncommercialised beaches can be found in this area.
Golf
There are already three championship courses in Cyprus with more golf courses in the pipeline. A further championship golf course and club house are planned at Tersefanou Village which is south-east of Larnaca. The nearest current golf course is Vikla golf club, near Limassol. Skiing
Believe it or not, ski-ing is available in Cyprus, in the Troodos mountains (not all year round).
Special interest holidays
If you are a keen cyclist or walker this is an ideal base with fantastic countryside and cultured farmland surrounding Anafotia. We have our own lockable storage on the ground floor of the apartment block, this is big enough to hold several bicycles.
Travel
The nearest airport is Larnaca. The apartment is approx 20 mins by car from Larnaca airport. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Anafotia village is a short walk from the resort. Once you reach the village you are captivated by its tradition and soon realise you have come to a special place. Anafotia may be small but it has everything to cater for your needs; supermarket, restaurant and cafe. Its laid-back bar and traditional restaurant are perfect for relaxing after a days activities (or relaxation). It enjoys a cultural and historical diversity that is popular with all visitors.

Preferred currency £sterling. Preferred payment method electronic bank transfer. Non-refundable deposit of 25% required with booking. Full balance required 8 weeks prior to holiday. Security deposit of £200 required with final payment, which will be fully refunded after your holiday, subject to no breakages, damage or loss. MAY 2011 “well appointed home from home”The appartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped and pool area was well maintained.The village of Anafotida had a shop and Taverna which served Very good traditional meals at a reasonable rate.Whilst a car is not essential it is advisable
As there is a lift to the appartment it is suitable for disabled, families, and most people who seek a well appointed home from home but cerainly not for those who want nightlife, discos etc.
June 2011. The apartment was very well equipped; very comfortable; catered for all our needs. The pool was an added bonus. Anafotidia is a lovely village with very friendly locals. There are 2 very good supermarkets in Anglesides which is a 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely recommend the accomodation; hope to return.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We loved Cyprus when we holidayed there a few years ago and we always wanted to set down some roots for our family. This apartment is in a quieter very traditional area, in very easy access of the main sights of the island and within a 20 min drive from Larnaca airport. Its a fabulous location to explore the island from by car, bike or on foot.
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is brand new. The development is small - only 14 apartments, sharing the pool. It has been well designed and built and offers great views of the local countryside. We've furnished it with relaxed holidaying in mind.
