Trepen is an individual house in a very special location on the lower slopes of the Kyrenias. From an elevated position above the village of Edremit, it offers both privacy and outstanding views of the coast from the West to the Karpaz in the East, with the Kyrenia Mountains as a backdrop. Edremit village has a shop, cafe/pub and a smart bar/restaurant. The house was completed in 2005 and many traditional Cyprus features have been incorporated, including a stone fireplace, marble floors, large balconies and Cyprus arches. It is fully equipped, has air conditioners/heaters and ceiling fans. There is a large and very private overflow swimming pool (10x5m) with outside shower and BBQ. A choice of sun or shade is available at the pool or on the balconies. An attractive stone wall surrounds the property and the landscaped gardens.

Notes on accommodation
Pets accepted only for long winter lets.
Outside
A very private Roman ended overflow swimming pool (10x5m) with underwater lights. Large sun bathing area with 2 tables, parasol, 6 loungers with cushions a total of 12 pool/balcony chairs, outside lighting, BBQ, shower and a garage.
Coast/Beach
The nearest sandy beach (Kervanseray) is 1½ mile. It is a charming bay with some good cafe / restaurants. Within 13 miles either side of Kyrenia there are many good beaches.

Troodos mountains in January/February.
Travel
Ercan airport, situated in the North, is approx 1 hour drive. Larnaca airport, in the South, takes about 90 mins. You are now allowed to cross the border (with passport), but a car hired in the South is not insured to drive in the North. Better to take a taxi from Larnaca and hire a car in the North (we can assist).
Distances
Places to visit: Old town Kyrenia and the lovely harbour. Bellapaise Abbey. The Crusader Castles, St Hilarion (you see the Queens window from our pool) Bufavento, Kantara, Salamis and Vouni. The turtle hatchery project. The Karpaz.
Further details
2 supermarkets are within 10 mins drive. There are over 350 restaurants in the North, most serve good food at the right price. Bring UK pounds with you and change to Turkish Lira here. Spectacular Paragliding now takes place from the Kyrenia Mountain above the house!. Some guests thoroughly recommend it!.
Booking notes
A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival plus a £200 returnable breakages deposit, refunded one week after leaving.
