Notes on accommodation
Strictly no smoking inside the property. All windows and patio doors have wooden louvred shutters. Pano Arodes sits above Coral Bay and the Akamas pennisula, where the heat is not so stifling. We have found the use of ceiling fans to be sufficient along with the natural air through the shutters - and much more pleasant than aircon!
Outside
Two sets of patio doors open off of the lounge and dining room onto a raised terrace, covered with a vine, overlooking the garden and the Akamas. Steps leading down to the private 8 x 4m swimming pool. Outside dining furniture, pool chairs, loungers and brick built BBQ. Large planted, private garden - the villa sits within a 900sq.m plot. Views down over the Akamas towards the sea.
Coast/Beach
15 minute drive to the beaches at Latchi and Polis to the north and Coral Bay to the south.
Special interest holidays
Plenty of walks down over the Akamas along the tracks that lead down from the house, in particular to the Avacas Gorge.
Travel
Nearest airport Paphos (45 mins). Larnaca Airport (approx 1hrs 45mins), easy motorway drive between Larnaca and Paphos. Car hire essential - most companies will deliver to both airports. We can provide you with details of the company we have used ourselves, whom we can make first contact with for you, to provide you with quotes to work with.
Distances
Small coffee-shop/bar, that serves meals on a Friday and Saturday evening, and small village shop, in a 5 mins stroll to the village square of Pano Arodes. A number of very good, traditional tavernas and a larger shop, selling good range of household goods and fresh fruit/vegatables can be found in Kathikas, approx 4km away.

Pano Arodes is a picturesque unspoilt village in the Paphos area, set amongst trees and vineyards. Kathikas is approx 4km away where life revolves around the square with its traditional tavernas, coffee shop and supermarket. From Pano Arodes you can easily explore the wild and beautiful Akamas peninsula and it is also only 15 minutes drive from the renowned beaches at Coral Bay to the south and Latchi/Polis to the north.
Booking notes
Enquiries can be made by phone. Bookings taken by e-mail. A non-refundable £150 deposit is required to confirm bookings. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, along with a £150 security deposit which will be returned after villa is checked and keys returned. Cancellation 42 days or more - loss of deposit, 21 - 41 days 50% of full payment, less than 21 days - no refund allowed.
