Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, although 12.00 is the time that we expect our guests to vacate the villa. However, should no other guests be arriving that day then there would not be a time for vacating imposed. We will liaise closer to date with guests.

Outside
The garden is landscaped tastefully with a large 8x4m private pool with roman steps and underwater lighting for your sole use. There is a powerpoint by the pool area. The area surrounding the pool and BBQ area is terraced with high quality Italian tiles, there is high quality furniture for eating alfresco including a circular table with 6 reclining chairs including parasol, a large sunshade (3m), 6 hardwood steamer loungers with cushions for your comfort. There is private parking to the side of the house. Just relax in the evenings alongside the pool, a glass of wine, soft music and succulent food from our barbecue, or to walk up the hill to the next village which is Tala, to sit in the Village Square and watch the world go by. It really is a taste of paradise.
Coast/Beach
Coral Bay is a 5 min car drive away. Here you will find a choice of beaches, water sports, cafes, restaurants and the most beautiful sunsets. A drive to the Akamas is recommended where there are plenty of unspoilt, deserted beaches on the way. Also the is the amazing untouched beach of Lara bay (Turtle Beach) where the turtles come to lay there eggs on a night.
Golf
Kissonerga is an ideal location for Tsada Golf Club, Aphrodite Hills & Secret Valley Golf Club.
Tsada Golf Club is situated near Tsada village, just 15 minutes' drive north of Paphos town.
Founded in 1994 on the hills of Tsada, it is set in the grounds of a 12th Century monastery in a gentle valley. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6060 metres. At an altitude of 550 metres above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer.
The Aphrodite Hills golf course is the centrepiece of as exclusive project encompassing a 5* hotel, villa development, tennis academy, health spa and village. The championship golf plays 18 holes with a 71par and measures 6665m. It lies 20km from Paphos on the road to Limassol.
The Secret Valley Golf Club. It is located 18km east of Paphos.
Skiing
The Troodos mountain range is a 1 hour car ride away. The highest peak is mount Olympus at 6154ft. There are 4 main slopes, all with lifts, from beginner Hera to Advanced Zeus. Skiing lasts from January through to April, and where else can you can ski in the morning and be back to swim in the afternoon.
In the summer Troodos allows for relaxing walks and majestic views

Paphos, an UNESCO world heritage site, is the ancient capital of Cyprus and former fishing port the often accredited as the birthplace of Aphrodite. The ancient sites and archaeology preserve this noble past and the harbour area builds on this, mixing old and new, to provide a perfect holiday destination in the sun.
Diving: With over 50 dive sites in Cyprus for all year round diving, with the Zenobia wreck being one of the top 10 worldwide dives, The Vera K wreck is just 25 minutes from Paphos harbour laying just 11m below the surface, close to the wreck there is an archway & a series of narrow tunnels suitable for the experienced diver to explore.
Travel
Paphos International Airport is a 20 min taxi transfer journey. Larnaca is an hour and three quarters journey by car. Car hire is highly recommended if you want to get out & about and discover Paphos and its' surrounding areas but there is also a local bus service available.
Distances
Kissonerga is well located, and ideally positioned to explore the many places to visit. The village has several restaurants, supermarkets, banks and a pharmacy. There is also a choice of tavernas which come highly recommended,within walking distance on the coast road. 10 minute drive up to neighbouring Tala village square is a true taste of Cyprus with many traditional tavernas to be enjoyed. By car Paphos 15 mins, Coral Bay 7 mins. Beach 15 minutes stroll.
Further details
Hiring a car is not essential but is recommended for those who want to explore all that Cyprus has to offer. A drive up to the pine clad Troodos Mountains is recommended and traditional villages include Lania, Omodos and Kakopetria or visit the beautiful monastery of Agios Neofytos. For a nice day out you can head to the popular fishing harbours of Polis and Latchi. Cyprus has the best of both, there is 'old' Cyprus offering charm and tradition or 'new' Cyprus which is livelier and modern. It is all there to be enjoyed, so your holiday is truly what you make it. Paphos town and harbour has an array of shops, restaurants and bars for a good evening out and Paphos fort often stages special attractions throughout the year. For the daytime, if you are adventurous Paphos Water Park is reached in 15 mins drive and is great for the kids. Many special interest holidays can be enjoyed such as fishing, cycling or birdwatching. A Spring visit to Cyprus provides some of the most exciting birding in all Europe. we are able to offer Car Hire very competitively at 17 euro per day. We can also arrange collection from the Airport.

A £200 security deposit will be required & returned to you (after our agent has checked the villa and found everything in order) within 14 days of your arrival back in the UK.

About the owner
My partner and I live and work in England. At the moment we only holiday in Cyprus, escaping from the pressures of work relaxing with all of our new friends, in such a beautiful historic country. We first visited Cyprus as children, we fell in love with the way of life and dreamt of living in Cyprus. We plucked up the courage to buy our villa off plan and took possession of the keys in August 2009. It is all we thought it would be, a little peace & tranquility in such a hectic world.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the villa off plan, the location was so important, we wanted to be a part of a village, but not far from the sea or the town. Kissonerga was perfect, we are literally 2 minutes walk from the village which has all the amenities that we need, including restaurants, a 15 minute relaxed stroll brings us to a stunning beach close to another outstanding restaurant. 5 minutes by car, you will find yourself at the very popular Coral Bay, 15 minutes drive in the opposite direction will find yourself at the picturesque Harbour in Paphos, surrounded by brightly painted fishing boats, and private yachts and all dominated by The Fort and the Mosaics and all only an hours drive to the Mountains of Troodos.
