Sirena Pafia is our very spacious ground floor apartment built to a high specification containing many modern features including a fully equipped and fitted kitchen, solar heating, pressurised domestic water system as well as air conditioning in all rooms together with ceiling mounted fans. The dining area leads directly onto a private spacious patio area furnished with a large table and four comfortable chairs, a sun umbrella and separate stand. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families and couples, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Sirena Pafia is located on the edge of a quiet residential area, within a short walking distance from the main tourist areas of Kato Paphos, featuring amenities such as: a picturesque and pedestrianised harbour, safe beaches, historical and archaeological sites and many bars, restaurants and shops.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds and a cot.
Both bedrooms contain fully fitted floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with large amounts of hanging and shelf space, together with dressing tables and mirrors, bedside tables and lamps.
Bathrooms: The bathroom is fully tiled and contains a full-size bath, an attached separately controlled shower with glass shower screen, a wash basin contained within a vanity unit, WC, mirror and modern fixtures.
Kitchen: The kitchen contains: a large fridge-freezer, microwave oven, electric cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, together with a full complement of cutlery, crockery, glasses and all modern day utensils.
Living Rooms: The lounge area is very spacious and contains two 3-seater leather settees, a large coffee table, a LCD satellite TV, DVD, CD player and a FM/AM clock radio with an iPod dock.
Other: The dining area is separated from the kitchen by a raised bar/worktop and contains table and chairs to comfortably seat six, together with contemporary storage furniture.

linen/maid service:
Bed linen, hand and bath towels together with beach/pool towels are provided. A mid-holiday/weekly cleaning of the apartment and a change of linen and towels are available at a small additional cost.

Notes on accommodation
The kitchen contains a large amount of storage space and granite worktops provide an ideal environment for preparation of all types of meals and snacks. All areas of the apartment are fully air-conditioned and have quiet ceiling mounted fans creating a cool environment in the summer months. In winter the air-conditioning units provide heating. The apartment is suitable for all ages and especially for children. Please note that the apartment sleeps up to a maximum of 4 and a no smoking policy applies. Pets are not allowed within the confines of the apartment. A complimentary welcome pack of provisions consisting of: tea, coffee, milk, sugar, mineral water, orange juice, bread and butter is provided on your arrival.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the ground floor and to gain access from the rear of the apartment complex requires a single step. The upper-level patio is on the same level as the apartment and to access the pool area from here requires two steps.

Outside
The dining area leads directly onto a private split level tiled patio surrounded by a low level wall with direct access onto the large paved area surrounding the swimming pool where sun beds and mattresses are provided.

Both levels provide adequate space to accommodate the large patio table and six comfortable chairs, together with a sun umbrella and separate stand.

The apartment is south facing and the patio area is in full sun from mid-morning until sunset but there is still ample shade on the partially covered patio area even during the hottest parts of the day.

A designated secure car parking slot is available within the confines of the apartment complex.

Coast/Beach
There are four main sandy beaches, some offering a wide variety of water sports, lying within short walking distances from Sirena Pafia. A short car or bus journey away is the resort of Coral Bay, famed for having one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, and with its sparkling clear waters, safe swimming and sports facilities – this is a favourite with tourists and locals alike. Further afield, to the north of the Paphos region, lie the resorts of Polis and Latchi.

Golf
Choose between four international standard 18 hole golf courses all situated within a 20 minute drive from the centre of Paphos.

The world-class Elea Golf Club commands a breathtaking location. At 6,400m (par 71) from the back tees, the Sir Nick Faldo-designed golf course has been meticulously crafted through rolling countryside.

Minthis Hills Golf Club (6060m par 72) is nestled in a gentle valley on the outskirts of Paphos and at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level, ensures cool breezes during summer months.

The aptly named Secret Valley Golf Course (5989m par 71) is tucked away in a superb valley just 18 kilometres east of Paphos and is set in scenic hills surrounded by mature trees and dramatic rock formations.

Aphrodite Hills (6200m par 72) is an award-winning integrated golf, leisure and real estate development. With spectacular views over the Mediterranean and dotted with native olive trees, the course is built on two plateaux separated by a dramatic ravine.

Skiing
Skiing is concentrated on the slopes of Mount Olympus, which at 1,952 metres is the highest peak in the Troodos Mountains. There are six different runs on the four main slopes, two in Sun Valley and two on North Face. Aphrodite (150m) and Hera (350m) slopes are suitable for beginners. Hermes (150m) and Zeus or Dias (500m) are suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers respectively. There is a ski school and ski equipment for rent at Sun Valley and catering facilities at the slopes. The Cyprus Ski Federation organises annual ski competitions.

Facilities at Troodos may not be as developed as those of established European ski resorts, but they are more than adequate to satisfy local and foreign visitors. The length of the ski season is unpredictable depending on snowfall, but it usually begins in January and continues through to March, sometimes even to April.

Travel
Although using a car is not essential, you will nevertheless find it useful for getting around during your stay.

Paphos International Airport is well served by many international airlines and package tour operators. The airport is only a 20 minute drive from our apartment.

As an alternative to Paphos, but much further away is Larnaca International Airport, which is about a 90 minute drive away, and if this is your arrival point in Cyprus then car hire rather than taxi is recommended.

Further details
Local shops are a couple of minutes away for day-to-day provisions and an excellent supermarket specialising in fresh fruit and vegetables is located within a 10 minute walk.

Scores of restaurants in Paphos cater for all tastes and all sizes of pockets. Many are found along the sea front and the harbour area and all are well within walking distances of Sirena Pafia. Whatever your choice you will always find the quality of food and the service is of the highest standard.

There are many historical and archaeological sites within Paphos. These include the archaeological museum, the House of Dionysus with its impressive mosaics, the Tombs of the Kings and the medieval fort at the harbour, from where boat trips (day and night) operate.

The Akamas peninsula situated to the north west of Paphos is a unique area with outstanding varied vegetation, wildlife, landscapes and coasts. On the south coast of the island, lies 'Petra tou Romiou', the location where Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love emerged from the sea. Aphrodite's Rock, as it is better known, is a massive chunk of stone that marks the spot; her birthplace was a place of pilgrimage for the entire Hellenic world.

Churches and monasteries are plentiful and include the churches of Ayia Solomoni, Panayia Chrysopolitissa, where can be seen St Paul’s Pillar, where it is said Saint Paul was flogged at some time before Roman Governor Sergius Paulus converted to Christianity; and Panayia Theoskepasti. The monasteries of Panagia tou Sinti and Ayios Neophytos are well worth visiting.

Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total cost is required to secure a booking.

The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the rental - bookings made within 6 weeks of the start require the full amount to be paid.

We prefer payments by bank transfer either in £ sterling or Euros but will accept cheque or PayPal, which will incur a small additional charge.

A separate refundable £150 security deposit, to cover any breakages and damage, is required at the same time as the balance.
