For sun worshippers, the award winning Pyla Beach is 3.3km away, with its gently sloping, sandy child-safe shore. From there, the Dhekelia Road runs through to Larnaca with an extensive range of bars, restaurants, shops and watersports. Larnaca itself has a beautiful marina, promenade lined with palm trees and a stunning beach. The island has numerous archaeological sites. The new Larnaca airport is 15/20 mins drive from complex. Skiing available in winter months in Troodos Mountains. Car hire highly recommended to take full advantage of all Cyprus has to offer.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival is after 4pm and departure by 10am, but we can be flexible on these times if the apartment is not in use immediately prior to or following your stay.

Notes on accommodation
Remote controlled air-con/heating in all rooms, plus 2 oil filled radiators to give constant heat in winter months. A supply of books, guide books, maps, DVD's, PS2 games, CD's, I-pod docking station and charger. Plastic cups and plates for pool/beach, cool bag/ice packs, beach umbrellas/mats/ bats/balls. Highchair, Z bed and travel cot for children with waterproof covers if needed (cot linen not provided). Internet cafe in Property Management office across the road. Please be aware that the apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
Accessibility
The complex is wheel chair friendly, with several disabled toilets at ground floor level, including one nearby the apartment. Covered car parking is available next to the apartment.
Outside
In addition to the apartment patio and garden, there are pleasant, spacious, landscaped gardens around the complex and at the pool side. The communal pool (shallow and deep ends) has sun loungers, parasols, showers, toilets, a bridge and benches. There are numerous covered and uncovered parking spaces within this electronically gated complex. The apartment has a frame for using with disposable barbecues. Internet cafe available across the quiet service road to the complex. A tennis court is available at an adjacent resort.
Coast/Beach
It is 3 mins drive to the award winning blue flag, golden sand Pyla beach which is very safe for children, with shallow waters, lifeguards, volleyball nets, play areas, bars and restaurants. Beautiful, secluded sandy coves for those wanting to get away from it all are accessible, by car around the coast. Watersports are available on the beautiful beaches towards Agia Napa.

Skiing
Skiing is available during the winter months in the beautiful Troodos Mountains. Equipment can be hired at the ski resort. Lessons available. Sledging area. Travel
The new Larnaca International airport is 15-20 mins drive away. Car hire is highly recommended and is normally cheaper if booked via the internet before you arrive.
Distances
The centre of Pyla village is a 5 mins walk away and typifies the peaceful co-existence of Greek and Turkish Cypriots. The roads into the village and the village square have both Greek and Turkish bars, restaurants, take-aways, supermarkets, barbers and places of worship. There is also a Catholic church. The vibrant, buzzing city of Larnaca is 10 mins drive away.
There is a border crossing just above Pyla village for those wishing to explore Northern Cyprus (Kyrenia, Famagusta etc.)

The seafronted Dhekelia Road is 3km away and runs parallel with the sea to Larnaca. Banks and ATM's can be found on the Dhekelia Road, along with pharmacies, hairdressers, bookshops, cafes, restaurants, bars, tavernas, quad biking hire, scuba diving companies,
There are several major supermarkets in and around Larnaca, as well as all the top retail stores/outlets.
For night life, Larnaca is 10 minutes away and Agia Napa 20 minutes away, by car.
For guests interested in scuba diving, the ferry Zanobia sank in Larnaca harbour and is one of the world's top ten dives. The island is full of historic sites, such as the Roman city of Kourion and the apartment is perfectly situated for access to all areas of South and North Cyprus.
Cyprus has a thriving programme of cultural events all year round.
The resort has a key holding service and a 24hr local representative to contact to deal with any problem for holidaying guests (for your peace of mind) and maintenance reps on site Monday - Friday (7 days high season). Keys are generally posted to UK guests 2 weeks before holiday date with a return stamped addressed envelope. Access code for gates and safe, directions and pre-visit information for the apartment are sent to guests at the same time.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure booking. Final balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. A £100 refundable security deposit payable 3 weeks before arrival and will be returned following a satisfactory inspection of the apartment by our local agent.
Cancellation refund: more than 8 weeks in advance-full refund less £50 deposit; less than 8 weeks-balance retained unless it is possible to re-let.
No all male/female parties or parties under age of 23. Discounts for long lets.

About the owner
Simon and I live in a small village near Rugby and have two children aged 19 and 24. We go out to Cyprus several times a year to enjoy the fantastic weather, recharge our batteries and to check that our apartment is perfect for our guests. We are fascinated by the history and culture of Cyprus and have enjoyed exploring the Island from Kyrenia, Salamis, Nicosia in the North to Paphos, Limasol, Larnaca, Agia Napa and the snow covered mountains of the Troodos in the South.

Our spacious modern apartment is ideally located within a peaceful, secure modern complex. Pyla Palms is only a relaxing 5 minute walk from the unique village of Pyla, a 3 minute drive from the beach, with motorway access to the whole of the island, both South and North. Larnaca (just 7 km away) is a cosmopolitan city with wonderful restaurants, chic shops and a vibrant night life. Pyla village, with its mix of Greek and Turkish cultures offers a place to try the local cuisine and relax, soaking up the evening sun. As Larnaca airport is only 15 mins drive, you can be relaxing by the pool within the hour!
