Villa Maria is an exceptional individually designed single storey villa built to the owners' specification with luxury and comfort in mind. This spacious villa sleeps up to 10 persons in beds plus infants, with all 4 bedrooms en-suite and with air conditioning. One of the bedrooms is in a separate self contained annexe with a kitchen and a bathroom. Villa Maria has internet access. There is a viewing tower with sea views and spectacular sunsets. A traditional brick BBQ, and covered seating area with a bar complete the setting for you to wine and dine and enjoy the sunny garden with a private pool and sunbeds. The area is nice and central for exploring all around Paphos with endless places of interest to visit. Beaches, golf, diving, water sports, go karts, buggies, and many more activities, are a short drive from this ideal location. Enjoy the village life, lovely old church and taverns in Emba, the Monastery in Tala, Lemba art college and 'prehistoric' village.

Notes on prices
25% deposit, and the balance 10 weeks prior to arrival. A booking form will be sent with details of how to pay. Prices are for the villa per week in UK Pounds sterling or euros. Prices include normal use of air conditioning. A welcome pack is included consisting of bread, butter, jam, cheese, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, and water. If central heating or heating of the pool is required, it will be charged at cost locally. There is a seperate charge for baby equipment. Ask for details.
Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. Arrival 2pm*, departure 10am*. Flight arrival and departure times required. *Every effort will be made to accommodate you earlier or later, from the time of your flight arrival until your flight departure time at no extra cost.

Notes on accommodation
We provide our guests with a free generous welcome pack consisting of 2 litres of water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, bread, butter, cheese, and jam. The property has air-conditioning in each bedroom included in the price. Central heating is charged locally. The pool can be heated for which a charge is made at cost locally. Suitable for couples, families, larger groups, or wedding groups. There is a small hire charge for baby equipment. A floor plan of the property can be supplied. Pre-order the broadband for which a small fee is charged.
Accessibility
The villa is single story and on flat ground. There is a driveway, also parking directly to the front, and a few steps from the front door. There is just one step up to the front, and one step down to the back.
Outside
Villa Maria has a private pool (heating available), a brick BBQ, and a bar. The unique viewing tower offers views from a higher perspective with sea and mountain views, and a light summer breeze. A local traditional Greek chef can be hired to cook for you upon request on the traditional BBQ (meet the chef and make your own arrangements direct). There are high locked gates blocking access from the front, and high walls and fences surround the property. Plenty of seating and sunbeds in the sunny garden.
Coast/Beach
Coral Bay Beach (best beach) 10 minutes drive, sandy, with facilities.Banana Bay Beach, (nearest) 3.5 Kilometers, 6 minutes drive. Municipal Beach, near harbour, 15 minutes drive. Many other beaches, just drop down to the coast in 5 minutes, and explore the many bays, including the picturesque St Georges Bay with the fishing boats and Harbour, 30 minutes away, and Latchi, Polis a little further with many fish restaurants, and a chance to hire a boat to see more of the lovely coast of Paphos.
Golf
New driving range less than 10 minutes drive away in Coral bay.
Aphrodite Hills Golf Course, about 40 minutes drive. Secret Valley Golf Course, about 30 minutes drive. The new Elia golf course just 20 minutes drive. Tsada Golf Course, about 30 minutes drive. Owners golf clubs available at the villa upon request.
Skiing
Seasonal (winter) Skiing in the Troodos Mountains.
Special interest holidays
Jeep safari trips to the Troudos Mountains and to the Akamas Peninsular can be arranged. Details of these and more local information is provided for you in your information guide inside the villa. Pleasure cruises can also be arranged. Wedding ceremonies or receptions can take place on board with an option for an overnight stay for the bride and groom.
Travel
Paphos Airport: 30 minutes drive. Larnaca Airport: 1 hour and 45 minutes drive. Car recommended, or use of taxi service, details supplied.
Distances
Emba village, taverns, and village church square 0.5 to 1.5 kilometers, 5 to 15 minutes walk. Tala, Kisonerga, Chloraka, and Pegia villages are all a short drive away. Paphos Harbour, 10 minutes drive. Coral Bay, 10 minutes drive. Drop down to the sea in 5 minutes. Paphos has so much to offer, and yet most places can be reached within 30 minutes. Further still are the Troodos mountains with breathtaking views of the surprisingly green landscape of Cyprus, and the many villages to explore.
Further details
Nearest bar/restaurant: 5 minutes walk. Other village bars/restaurants and supermarket, 15 minutes walk or few minutes drive. Fish and chips from nearby Kisonerga. There are many more bars/restaurants along the Tombs of the Kings road area, and the Harbour area, are within short drive (10 minutes or less). Many places of historical and archaeological interest in Paphos to explore. Water sports, diving, boat trips, water park, amusement parks, horse riding, skiing, flat green bowling, and golfing are just some of the activities available. Just 5 minutes drive will take you up to the next village square of Tala, with about ten restaurants all together. Take your pick! There is a lovely monastery, Agios Neophitos, just a little further, a must to explore during your visit. With such a lot to see in Paphos, many come back year after year to explore more of this beautiful Mediterranean island, known for the legendary Aphrodite, Goddess of Love.
