Combined heating & air conditioning unit. Ideal for children and wheelchair users. Sorry, no animals or smoking inside apartment.
Accessibility
Ideal for wheelchair users. We have a grandson who uses one. Main Door & 1 bedroom door widened. Shower for wheelchair in 3rd bedroom. There are ramps from patio doors & kitchen door to a patterned concrete area. All areas accessible.
Outside
Outside area goes from Southeast facing at patio doors to southwest facing at kitchen door. Completely covered with stamped concrete, outside table & 6 chairs on patio & 4 loungers with sun shades. Large communal swimming pool on site.
Coast/Beach
800 meters from beach but many beaches along south coast within easy driving distance. The Cyprus Tourist Organisation (CTO) beach close to Oroklini boasts clear shallow waters & fine golden sands & recently won an internationally recognized Blue Flag Award. It has swings, merry go rounds, shaded areas & cafes.
Golf
Golf Courses about 1 hours drive away.
Skiing
Skiing in Troodos Mountains about 1 hour away. (Winter only).
Travel
Larnaca airport is 20 mins away. We can recommend Car hire or a taxi service from airport should you not wish to drive but would suggest car hire for some of the stay.
Can also suggest flights from UK airports. Monarch Airlines fly from Larnaca to Luton, Manchester, Gatwick, Birmingham - try 08700 4050 40. Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Thomas Cook fly out of Gatwick. Jet2.com fly Larnaca to Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow (2011). Paphos is 1 1/2 hours away but has more flights off season.
Distances
Lively town of Larnaca about 7 kms away. Oroklini village centre about 1 mile. Nicosia about 40 kms. Water world about half an hour drive.
Further details
Oroklini has supermarkets, bars, variety of restaurants, banks with ATM's, 2 excellent bakeries, take-aways. 'The strip', about 20 minutes walk away has up market hotels, restaurants, many shops, Internet cafe, 10 pin bowling, car hire and money exchange.

About the owner
We are Alan and Sandra Ellwood from Hampshire, England. We have been retired since 2006 and spend our winters in Cyprus. The weather in winter is better than an English summer and we spend most of the time in shorts and we can really enjoy our pastime of walking in the sunshine.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
When we looked at buying overseas, we thought about France & Spain as well as Cyprus, but the fact that nearly everyone speaks English and they drive on the left and there are 300 days of sunshine in the year clinched it for us.
Unique benefits of the property
The property is 20 minutes from Larnaca airport and 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from the beach. We actually walk a lot over there. The village is quite relaxed and boasts ample bars, restaurants, supermarkets, a bank with ATM, a fruit and veg shop and 2 bakeries.
