“Sunshine Haven” is fully furnished to a high standard with satellite TV, air conditioning in the bedroom and living area, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and a lovely balcony. The complex boasts a beautiful pool with a toddler’s pool beside it. There are sun loungers at the poolside, so you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds in the sun or you can relax and sunbathe on the expansive roof top terrace. Alternatively you might feel energetic and make use of the Tennis Court.

Changeover day
Availability permitting, changeover dates are flexible.
Current changeover timings are as follows:
Arrive and enter "Sunshine Haven" @ or after 15.00hrs (3pm)
Vacate "Sunshine Haven" @ or before 10.00hrs (10am)
| Bedrooms: | Air conditioning, a large double bed, fitted wardrobe, vanity unit, bedside tables and reading lamps. |
| Bathrooms: | Fully tiled with bathroom suit including; a full size bath with strong shower & screen. Toilet. Mirror above the sink & child's potty below. Mar to Nov there is ample hot water, heated by solar power, Nov to Mar use of the water heater might be required. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with; breakfast-bar, numerous units, kettle, toaster, cooker, hob and extractor as well as all crockery and utensils, with plastic-ware for children, a fridge/freezer for cold storage an iron and a vacuum. |
| Living Rooms: | Air conditioning, wall mounted TV with satellite receiver & DVD player, coffee table, 3 seater sofa (converts into double bed), 2 seater sofa, a growing book collection, please feel free to add to the library but also, if unfinished, take one with you. |
| Other: | The living room leads out onto the balcony, through the sliding french-doors, where you'll find patio furniture which seats four and you can dine alfresco in the warmth under the stars. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Cleaning is done before and after your stay. Extra cleaning can be paid for via the 'Rae of Sunshine' team. Bath towels, (please don't take out of the apartment) and Bed linen, are provided and changed each week. Please bring / use your own Beach towels. |

Notes on accommodation
Please note that this is a NON-SMOKING apartment so please keep to the balcony when you're smoking, thanks. The air conditioning is preset and is operated via a push button timer switch, below it, on the wall. The door key & electricity fob are in the Key safe, located on the right hand side of the front door, the combination of which will be given to you on your arrival. Please use this facility as it gives you the freedom of not needing to worry about losing the key and finding yourselves locked out of the apartment, (If the Key is lost there is a replacement fee payable). The combination is changed at the end of every clients stay. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE COMBINATION as forgetting the combination, leading to the need to replace the safe, would be quite costly. If during your stay you should happen to forget the combination, the Rae of Sunshine team should be contacted and they will have a record of the original code supplied to you on your arrival.
Accessibility
The complex itself is very wheelchair friendly despite a large kerb at the very entrance and although this is a second floor apartment, the lift makes wheelchair access viable, providing the chair will go through a standard door width. However, please note that: A)The key safe is mounted in the doorway, approx 5ft from the floor, B)The apartment is of standard build with no alterations having been made to cope with disabilities.
Outside
Each apartment in the complex has a designated underground parking space, "Sunshine Haven's" space is marked B19 15
The Tennis court is external to the main complex area and the key is in the Key safe. Unfortunately, at the moment, I have no tennis equipment available to you.
Coast/Beach
There are any number of little bays and beaches from Kapparis to Pernera going toward Protaras where you can sunbathe / swim / snorkel or you could venture further along toward Ayia Napa. A beautiful walkway along the coastline has recently been completed between Pernera and Protaras, which is particularly romantic in the warmth of the evening as dusk comes down.
Skiing
Available in the Troodos mountains at certain times of the year.
Special interest holidays
Quite a lot of Scuba Diving schools offer you the opportunity to dive whether you're a total novice or a seasoned pro, but novices please beware, you shouldn't dive deeper than about 20m, (plenty deep enough to see an awful lot and have a great time), until you have experience and also make sure to leave at least a full 24hrs between diving and flying!
Travel
Whilst it is possible to fly into Paphos Airport (approx 2.5hrs drive from the apartment) it is far more practical to fly to Larnaca Airport (approx 40mins from the apartment). If you haven't already booked Car hire via the internet it is much cheaper at the airport than it is anywhere else in Cyprus. If you're not hiring a car or don't want one for your full holiday then a taxi will cost you around 70 Euros each way or I can arrange for 'Rae of Sunshine' to collect you for 45 Euros each way.
Further details
I shall need your exact Flight details and timings so that I can let William & Jackie know when you are due to arrive and leave enabling them to book you into their busy Diary. You'll be able to make arrangements with them regarding transfers, or meeting them near Protaras, if you've hired a car or are in a Taxi, so they can guide you to "Sunshine Haven".
It's normal procedure for you to ring William & Jackie before leaving Larnaca Airport so they know your expected time of arrival at the apartment. If you get lost just ring them again and they'll guide you in!!
Also if you want them to put a welcome pack (basic grocery items such as Water/Beer/Bread etc), for your arrival, then you need to order it in advance and pay for it locally to Rae of Sunshine Home Services, at a cost of 15 Euros. Alternatively if you supply a shopping list they can shop for you, for a small fee.

Booking notes
Minimum booking is for 1 week for which a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. All other bookings, (longer stays), will require a 30% deposit. All balances are to be paid 2 months before arrival.
Guest comments
We had a lovely holiday thank you, just a shame we're back in rainy Britain. The apartment was great and the pool was lovely. We had some lovely meals along Kennedy Ave, our favourite places were; Just Italian, Karas and Faliros and our best bar was Pig n' whistle.
We went to Protaras 3 times and had nice food there including a KFC, lol.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
My uncle had lived in Cyprus for many years and when I finally got to go out and visit him, I loved the island so much that I bought an apartment. I'd always wanted my own place in the sun, so it was as simple as that. The weather is great and the people are so warm and friendly it's hard not to love it.
