Villa Dalriada is our home in Cyprus. It is ideally situated in a quiet corner of Pissouri village, only 10 minutes walk to the famous Square with its unspoilt atmosphere and wealth of restaurants. The villa has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, a luxury bathroom and a spacious living area and balcony which is positioned to gain maximum benefit from the stunning scenery and sea breeze. The villa contains everything you need from crockery and washing machine to Sky Freeview and sunbeds positioned at the generously proportioned pool. Externally the villa is complimented by the finest bougainvilla in the village and a courtyard garden with citrus fruit in season. There is a shaded pergola in the rear courtyard which provides the perfect shady setting on a hot afternoon.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. Arrival and departure expected to be after 12 noon but we will honestly do our best to help.

Notes on accommodation
Pissouri is a WiFi internet area. Provision is arranged via local internet cafe.
Accessibility
The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs making it very suitable for the infirm, however the main living accommodation is upstairs which could be an issue for those less able. The balcony makes it unsuitable for crawling babies (in my view).
Outside
The shared pool is a short walk to the rear. Loungers are provided for our guests on site. The bouganvillia is stunning in season as are the citrus fruit trees and bird of paradise flowers which grace the courtyard and front gardens. There is a shaded pergola area with table and chairs and large parasols are provided for the courtyard and balcony.
Coast/Beach
Five minutes drive to the Blue Flag Beach at Pissouri Bay. The beach is quiet, scenic and has ample restaurants in the background. 10 minutes drive to Evdimou Bay with just one restaurant and if you see more than 10 people it is considered to be crowded.
Golf
Golf courses at Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley are 20 minutes drive as is the Army course at Happy Valley in the Sovereign Base Area of Episkopi.
Skiing
Troodos skiing is 45 minutes on a good day but nearer an hour in the snowy season.
Travel
Paphos Airport is 20 minutes. Larnaca Airport is 70 minutes. Hire car recommended to gain the benefit of Pissouri's position amongst Cyprus' rich heritage.
Distances
Village Square 10 minutes walk. Aphrodite's rock 15 minutes drive. Paphos 30 minutes. Troodos resort 40 minutes. Curium archaeological site 20 minutes (World heritage).
Further details
Pissouri village has retained the character that much of Cyprus has lost. The locals are friendly, supportive and English is widely spoken. This is a quiet village, ideally suited to those who want to enjoy Cyprus without the clubs and karaoke. This is a million miles from Ayia Napa and Paphos.

We bought in Pissouri because we spent a long time here when the children were small and it holds such happy memories.
Unique benefits of the property
Pissouri Village is well positioned, convenient for the motorway yet peaceful and private. The villa itself is conveniently positioned, close enough for a gentle walk, and with absolutely stunning views. My photos simply don't do them justice.
