Accessibility
Penthouse apartment is access by stairs and a lift. Covered car parking space just a few steps from the main door.

Outside
The panoramic complex boasts landscaped shared pool in private area. Roof terrace dining table and chairs, umbrella for shade, sun loungers, sink, cupboards and worktops. Disposable BBQ's can easily be bought locally and bricks to stand BBQ on is in the cupboard (You are on holiday - who wants to spend time cleaning BBQ's?).

Coast/Beach
Just a few minutes drive away you will find miles of unspoilt beach and warm sea (Kiti). Take a picnic and umbrella and relax. Some beaches like Governors are surrounded by quaint restaurants, beach seats and umbrellas. Closer to Larnaca there are more beaches plus water sports, children's area and the marina with nightlife and restaurants.

Golf
Under construction PGA championship golf resort in nearby Tersefanou, Only 5 minutes away. More info available on request.

Skiing
The Troodos mountains has a ski lift and does get busy. We drove there in about 1 hour 15 mins. You will need a 4 x 4 and chains in the ski season. They provide lessons too.

Travel
Larnaca International airport is just 15km away with direct flights from the UK. Car hire is highly recommended and major car hire companies are located at the airport for you. Motorways and roads are of a high standard. Speed limits drink driving laws and seat belts are all required just like in the UK. The seafood and mezze food is wonderful and the scenery and history make for an idyllic romantic or family holiday.

Distances
Mazotos village is just 3 minutes walk with local shops and bank. Many beautiful villages within short driving distance such as Kiti, Pervolia and Tersefanou. From the motorway Nicosia, Limassol, Agia Napa, Troodos mountains and Paphos are within easy reach.

Further details
There is a bank and cash point in Mazotos. Two doctors and pharmacy in Kiti - about 10 minutes in the car. There are two small but packed supermarkets where you can get all your essential shopping and disposable BBQs.
Relax in the privacy of your rooftop terrace, pool or beach.
Feeling adventurous? The location is fantastic for island exploring. Nowhere is very far away. Restaurants are within a 2 minute drive, spas and beauticians within 5 minutes. And everyone drives on the left!

About the owner
My wife and live in England with to young kids. I'm in software and my wife is a teacher. We like unspoilt warm holidays where we can get away from the busy world - but not too far!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought in Mazotos because it fits with the away from it all and not been spoiled by tourism. Its close to the beach, some nice pretty towns and restaurants but also you can be in the thick of it all in no time and at the top of the Troodos mountains in about an hour and a half, some really pretty places up there. If you're into shopping, Nicosia (Lefkosia) is about 45mins and Larnaca 25 mins.

Unique benefits of the property
Its nice have a pool in the complex, but we really like having the roof top terrace space. In the evening we have our meals/BBQs up their with a glass of wine or two and play games with the kids - nice quality time. The sea breeze keeps it cool in the hot summer evenings with nice views. On the ground floor its really handy having the sheltered car park space and lock-up. We put our cases, beach stuff, bikes golf clubs etc. in it.
