The property occupies a prominent position upon this select development of private luxury detached villas, enjoying tranquil location upon the fringe of Edremit and yet within easy reach of comprehensive facilities, including restaurants ranging from the sophisticated to home cooking, modern supermarkets and several beaches including the popular Escape Beach Club with its many water sports including scuba diving, jet skis and parascending. A ten minute drive finds you in the centre of the historic harbour town of Kyrenia, the bustling cultural centre of the region with regular boat trips around the coastline.

Changeover day is ideally Saturday. However different changeover days and arrival/departure arrangements can be accommodated upon request.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms, living dining and kitchen areas are air-conditioned and with central heating. This is Non Smoking villa, ashtrays are provided for those guests wishing to smoke outside. Child friendly subject to adult supervision. Maximum number of people in the villa not to exceed 10, villa for sole use of paying guests.

We can not be held responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury arising out of your use of the villa or during your stay in Northern Cyprus however caused.

There is comprehensive information pack within the villa to give you further guidance to help you enjoy your stay. Others amenities and facilities provided are hairdryers, cool bags and parasols, first aid box, mosquito repellent machines, CDs, DVDs and Wii games.

Accessibility
Not adapted for wheelchairs. There is one marble step onto the portico outside the main front entrance. However once inside the villa the ground floor is accessible with no steps.

Outside
Private 10 x 5 genuine infinity pool with pool toys and inflatables, six pool loungers with cushions, bean bags and 4 rattan armchairs with cushions and coffee table, stone top table with comfortable seating for 6 to 10 people providing an ideal alfresco dining area with BBQ and large steel gazebo. Landscaped garden with path and seating area. Ample block paved off road parking approached from wrought iron gates, providing parking for a least 2 vehicles. Separate travertine topped bar area with bar seating. Paved sundeck split level to the main terraced area providing further large outdoor space with panoramic sea view.

Coast/Beach
The main most popular beach is the Escape beach club which is approx 5 mins drive west on the coast road. There are variety of water sports and restaurants. There is also Camelot Beach Club and Kervan beach, which are both within a short drive of the villa. Turtle beach is approx 30 mins drive east of Kyrenia where you can experience the turtles hatching. There are several water parks, the closest being Aqua Park in Lapta apx 10 mins drive west on coast road. Boat trips are available.

Golf
Korinium Golf Club is a magnificent 18 hole championship golf course nestled in the mountain side with breathtaking sea and mountain views and incredible scenery. The clubhouse bar and restaurant are of a very high standard located approximately 20 mins drive from the villa to the east of Kyrenia on the main Esentepe coast road. Equipment available for hire at the golf club.

Skiing
The winter ski resort in the Troodos mountains is approximately 2.5 hours from the villa.

Travel
The nearest international airport is Ercan which is approximately 30 mins by car. Larnaca airport in the South is approx 75 mins from the villa by car. Either trip is comfortable as the roads are very good. If flying to Larnaca, we would recommend hiring a car to be dropped off at the villa for you. We can arrange a local taxi to pick you up at the airport and drop you at the villa. We recommend a hire car for your stay.

Distances
The village of Edremit is 2 mins drive, Karmi village 5 mins drive. Lapta is 10 mins drive. Kyrenia 10 mins drive. Bellapais 15 mins drive. St Hilarion 30 mins. All have a variety of restaurants and places to explore and provide a strong sense of the traditional spirit that typifies this area of the Mediterranean. There are numerous castle and monasteries throughout the mountains and many walks which are ideal for excursion as a change from the beach/pool. All can be reached within 30 mins.

Further details
There are many modern supermarkets along the main coast road within 5 mins drive providing fresh fruit and veg and all t
the usual essentials. Kyrenia is a bustling harbour town, the focal point being a magnificent horseshoe harbour which provides an incredible atmosphere surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants.

There are too many restaurants to mention, the majority are very high quality, most of the restaurants are signposted from the main road which is 5 mins drive from villa. Understandably in North Cyprus there are also many kebab restaurants serving traditional kebabs and meze.

Extreme sports fans may want to try paragliding from the mountain top. The paraglider can be seen flying over the villa approx every half hour this can be booked within Kyrenia Harbour as well as boat trips which offer full or part day excursions with food included. These leave daily from the harbour. You can also charter your own private boat. Many scuba diving schools operate along the coastline the nearest being at Escape Beach Club 5 mins drive from villa. Many international banks are situated along the coast road the nearest of these being 5 mins drive east along the coast road. The capital of Nicosia is around 25 mins drive and provides yet another opportunity to explore and soak up the culture. The Karpaz is ideal for a full day out or stay overnight with its protected wild donkeys, miles of unspoilt beaches and crystal clear waters.

The villa has a number of guide books which are available to plan your excursions should you wish.

Booking notes
Mid term clean available on request. Airport transfer available if required. A non refundable deposit of 20% will be requested on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before your holiday. A security deposit of £400 is required, this will be refunded in full upon a satisfactory property inspection upon departure. Refunds cannot be made for cancellation after final balance as been paid.
