This luxurious spacious ground floor apartment is situated in the stunning Orpheus Village within the Aphrodite Hills 5* Golf & Spa resort. The apartments won the 'Homes Overseas' 2004 Gold Award for Best Cypriot Apartments, due to the generous living space and design. The village is a small community of 21 apartments nestled in a most tranquil idyllic location set amongst a natural landscape with olive and carob trees; there’s a large attractive free flowing swimming pool for the exclusive use of the residents. Constructed in mid 2003 as a showpiece for the resort, the apartment uses natural materials including marble, granite, wood and local stone. Overlooking the 2nd and 12th greens and enjoying breathtaking unobstructed panoramic views across the ravine, resort and towards the sea this apartment enjoys a unique position.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have remote air conditioning for both cooling and heating. There is a no smoking policy inside this apartment, smoking is allowed on the patios and garden.

Private landscaped tendered garden to the rear and sides of the apartment. Front line golf views of the 2nd and 12th holes. 3 furnished patio areas for al-fresco dining.

Coast/Beach
The resort has its own private beach located opposite the entrance to the resort. 'The Beach Club' at 'Avdimou' is a 15 minute drive from the Resort, an hourly shuttle bus leaves from the Intercontinental Hotel and takes you to the sandy beach club. Facilities include Bar, restaurant, complimentary towels, sunbeds and umbrellas. 2 other beaches within 5-15 minutes drive are at Aphrodite's Rock and Pissouri.

Golf
18 holes, Par 71/70, 6232 meters. Carved out of groves of carob and olive trees on 2 high plateau divided by a ravine; the championship standard course opened in October 2002 overlooks the Mediterranean with all but a few holes, enjoying superb sea views. There's double ended 350 meter practice range, also offering 4 target greens with accompanying bunkers. For those who only have time for a short practice round, there are 3 academy holes (1 Par3, and 2 Par4). On hand are 2 resident professional golf instructors. Last but not least the 19th hole, a superb clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant and bar overlooking 18th hole.

Skiing
In the winter months, January to March the Troodos Mountains approx. 1 hrs drive from the resort offers limited skiing.

Special interest holidays
Tennis enthusiasts will enjoy 4 floodlit tennis courts and a tennis academy offering coaching to all levels. If you are looking for fitness or relaxation; "The Retreat" fully equipped gym & spa offers an amazing array of treatments, both indoor and outdoor pools, gardens and massage temples providing glorious views of the Mediterranean.

Travel
The resort is just 17km from Paphos Airport (10-15 mins by car), 20km Paphos Town and 1km from the B6 link road which links Paphos to Limassol. Car hire is essential as there are two other golf courses close by and the Island offers many places of beauty and historical interest.

We enjoyed our stay in CO1. It's a super apartment; extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. It felt like a home from home, which is what we needed with a 7 month old baby to cater for! About the owner
My names Andrew Robinson, I live in Cambridge, but spend most of my week travelling within the UK. I'm a Telecoms consultant, supporting many of the big mobile telecom operators/manufacturers within the sector. Being one of the initial 21 purchasers on the Aphrodite Hills development, at the time the only vision for the resort were artists impressions & dreams. For many years I was also the youngest owner ! To think now Aphrodite Hills has turned into truly unique Internationally recognized award winning 5* resort.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Having spent a few holidays in Cyprus, I then saw an advert in the Daily Telegraph for a new resort in the eastern Mediterranean. I thought to myself uhmm, that's different to the usual Spanish retreat ! Absolute peace of mind with the fact nothing would ever be built in front of the property, to spoil the fantastic views as the properties gardens border the golf course. Plenty of ancient attractions within the vicinity, so if not relaxing by the pool, playing golf/tennis then there's always something local to see or do.

Unique benefits of the property
The absolute unique views of the golf course, across the resort & towards the Mediterranean sea. Peaceful & tranquil yet only a few minutes from the resorts village square.
