Notes on accommodation
This apartment is suitable for families as close to the pool and children's play area, also as ground floor suitable for persons with mild walking difficulties.

Accessibility
On the ground floor just 3 steps up to the front door.

Outside
A large enclosed patio area with table and chairs and space for sun loungers, 2 large shared pools, 1 children's pool, 2 jacuzzi's, gym on site (with unlimited use) landscaped grounds.

Coast/Beach
Faros Beach, is approx 1000m from the apartment (10 minute walk). Faros is a sandy beach with an excellent view that has been awarded a blue flag. The quality of the water is tested frequently and the beach front is cleaned every day. Water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire are available from April 15th to October 31st. Lifeguards are on duty with lifesaving equipment from 11:00 to 17:30 hours during the same period. Note -over the Winter the beach is covered in seaweed, all cleared by April.

Golf
Three courses close by: Minthis Hills (Tsada) Golf - 6 miles. Founded in '94 on the hills of Tsada, set on the grounds of 12th century monastery, in a verdant valley. Created by Donald Steel and renovated by Mackenzie and Ebert in June 07, plays to a par 71 and measures 5828 meters. Situated on the outskirts of Paphos, the altitude of 550 meters above sea level ensures cool breezes during the Summer months. Secret Valley - 12 miles. The Secret Valley Golf Course, is a highly prestigious golf course located by the renowned area of 'Petra tou Romiou', the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations. Consistently appearing as the preferred course amongst the island's visiting players in terms of sheer playability and enjoyment. Aphrodite Hills - 12 miles. Aphrodite Hills' 18-hole standard championship golf course follows the scenic contours of 2 plateaux divided by a ravine.

Skiing
Skiing is available over Winter months and into Spring in the Troodos mountains.

Travel
Fly to Paphos International Airport - Kato Paphos is only approx 12km from the airport. Car hire not required as everything needed is available within a short walk e.g. beach, shops, restaurants. Taxis are available from the airport and cost approx 35 euros to the apartment. If car hire is wanted then booking in advance is recommended.

Distances
The apartment is situated in a secluded area between the Tombs of the Kings area of Kato Paphos and the coastline. Well located, it is only a few minutes walk from Tomb of the Kings Avenue, where there are many bars and restaurants, and from Faros beach (blue flag). Beyond that the harbour area is a 20-25 minute walk along the new coast path and you can reach the old town and market within 5 minutes. There are local air-conditioned buses that pass nearby and taxis are easily obtained.

Further details
A large selection of local restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk, and the Harbour with its seafood restaurants is approx 20-25 minutes walk along the new coast path. Coral Bay Beach (12 minute drive/6 miles) this is the best sandy beach in Western Cyprus. It is a lovely long curved stretch of golden sand that falls in between two headlands. The beach is well-equipped and has calm shallow waters all around. The bay also has some splendid little coves in the region and many places to explore. The bay offers the chance for some diving,& is also very close to the nesting spot for the turtles of the island. Laatchi Beach (20 miles) - This is lovely beach with beautiful scenery is located close to Latchi fishing harbour with many lovely fish restaurants, and is in the Polis area. Lara Bay/Turtle Bay (15 miles) is on the Akamas Peninsular. Paphos has two Blueflag sandy beaches. Water sports, including paragliding, windsurfing and jet skis are widely available on most beaches in Paphos and the surrounding areas. The whole of Paphos is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 4th Century BC Tomb of the Kings are only a 5 minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Paphos Bird Park, the water park and go-carting. There is a 5 star PADI Dive school and 5 star ESPA Spa at the nearby Elysium hotel (800m away).

£100 non-refundable deposit required at time of booking to secure dates. Balance plus refundable security deposit (£100) due 8 weeks before start of holiday. Cancellation policy: more than 8 weeks - loss of deposit. 4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks – no refund. Note: refundable security deposit will be returned approx 7-14 days after your stay.

I live in England with my husband and 4 children and our mad little westie. I work full time as a midwife a very rewarding and hardworking job so really look forward to our time spent in Cyprus. We chose Cyprus because of the relaxed lifestyle and lets not forget the fabulous weather. Our apartment is really home from home and we enjoy every moment spent there, and are happy for others to share the same experience. The apartment is in a great location for getting round and about and can be as relaxing or as hectic which ever way you choose.
