The village of Avgorou combines old Cypriot charm with the modern day culture of the island. Beautiful scenery surrounds the area whilst within the village can be found a range of shops and everyday amenities. Car hire is strongly recommended as you are in a village location however taxis are available in village.

Notes on accommodation
Villa is situated on a private development of just 4 properties which are surrounded by open fields on 3 sides. The property is fully fenced to provide a secure and private enviroment for guests to enjoy. Please note standard arrival time is between 9am - 9pm outside of these hours special arrangements for key collection will need to be made and guests will need to locate the property themselves.
Accessibility
Unfortunately the villa is not suitable for disabled guests at this time.
Outside
6m x 3m private pool with exterior lighting for that late night dip. A large Patio area with exterior lighting, barbecue, dining table with 6 chairs and sun parasol for dining alfresco day or night. 2 fully reclinable Sun loungers. 5 ft high perimeter fencing for added privacy
Coast/Beach
There many local beaches to choose from most are within a short 10-15 mins drive. There is also a great Water park ideal for the kids just 10 mins drive away. Sea fishing, Scuba diving and just about every kind of water sport you can think of are located 15 mins drive away in Ayia Napa.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses across the island the closest located at Dekelia a short 30 minute drive away Alternatively the more established championship Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley courses are just 45 mins away.
Skiing
Surprisingly Cyprus also offers snow skiing in the troodos mountains located approx 1 hour away.
Travel
Larnaca Airport is 25-35 mins drive.
Distances
Avgorou village is a 5 min walk with supermarkets, bakery, butcher, chemists and numerous small shops, several banks and ATM machines for your convenience. You will also find a good selection of friendly tavernas, bars and cafes, many of which offer free internet access. There is a choice of take-a-way restaurants that offer pizza, Chinese, fish and chips and of course local shish kebabs and BBQ options. Several churches a children's playground and local museum can also be found.
Further details
Cyprus is a lovely sunny Island, warm enough for holidays throughout the year and is especially hot in July and August. The locals are very friendly people and most speak good English but they do like you to try a little bit of Greek!Avgorou has all you need for a quite peaceful holiday, yet is within easy driving distance of all that Cyprus has to offer. Paralimni, Protaras, Ayia Napa, Larnaca are all within 20 mins driving distance and have some lovely beaches as well as all the usual tourist day and night attractions. Avgorou is near to the border of Northern Cyprus and you can cross over if you wish, there is a lookout point near Paralimni where you can see Northern Cyprus and find out more about the history of the invasion in 1974. Cyprus drive on the left, with one main motorway from Larnaca down to the southern/eastern areas you should never get bored in Cyprus, there are excellent shopping areas in all the towns where you can buy almost anything.
Booking notes
A 25% non refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of booking. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable breakages/damages deposit of £250 is required 7 days prior to arrival. Fully refunded within 2 weeks of departure after inspection by property manager.

I'm a self-employed professional with a busy schedule and demanding work load. As someone who spends a lot of time travelling I need. a place to escape and Cyprus is just the ticket. As a freelancer I need to be able to take my holidays at short notice, basically whenever I can fit them in as Cyprus is warm nearly all year round so offers me an ideal anytime retreat.
