Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning can also be used as heating if required. Due to the pool and the location/position of the villa, young children will need to be supervised for there own safety.

Accessibility
Whilst accessibility is relatively easy the villa does comprise of a number of different levels which would make it difficult.

Outside
The exterior comprises of a large patio area on two levels with BBQ and dining table, seating 6 on one level, and a hammock, deck chair and space for sun bathing on the other.

Coast/Beach
The sea is less than a 5 mins drive away. There are water sports, diving, boat trips, restaurants and bars all within easy driving distance. Turtle beach which is 10 mins away is a conservation area where one can watch the turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and hatch before returning to the sea.

Golf
The Korineum 18 hole championship golf course and country club is 5/10mins away. Facilities include driving range, tuition, Pro shop, restaurants, bar and spa services.

Travel
There are 2 airports Ercan in the North and Larnaca in the South. Ercan is 30 mins drive away and a flight of 5/6hours. Larnaca is 1 hour 30mins away with a direct flight time of 4/5 hours. Based on London airports. Car hire is recommended. We can recommend car hire companies and arrange airport pick up on your behalf.

Distances
Esentepe is 5 min drive away. Kyrenia (Girne) the main harbour town 25/30mins away. Turtle beach (Algadi) 10/12 mins. Vogue beach for water sports etc 10 mins away. There are many historical sites to see eg, Bellapais Abbey, Buffavento Castle, St Hilaron Castle Kyrenia Castle, all within an easy drive.

Further details
The local shops in Esentepe include post office, petrol station mini supermarket, patisserie, restaurant and bars The main shopping area is in Kyrenia.

Booking notes
A deposit of 50% is payable when booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure. A refundable bond of £150 against breakages and damage is payable with your balance, this will be returned to you with in two weeks of your return.

About the owner
I am a 58 year old Retail Professional married for 24 years to another retail professional. We have a teenage daughter. Who's sole aim in life is to put her Father into an early grave and drive her Mother to distraction. A normal family really.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The main reason for buying our villa was as a holiday retreat for the family. Having spent the last 4 summers at the villa it has served us well giving us that home from home feeling when within its walls. We chose its location for its unspoilt beauty, fantastic views, peace and quite and proximity to the action when needed. The villa also give us the opportunity to experience a different culture.

Unique benefits of the property
The properties position offers a unique experience. Situated on the side of a hill with uninterrupted views to the Sea during the day and at night a star clustered Sky as never seen in England. Its location is a 20 min drive to the main port of Kyrenia (girne) and 5/10 mins to the beaches. In august when the turtles are born they can be seen breaking out of there nests beneath sand on the beach and making there way to the sea, remarkable. If its water parks and discos you are after then this is not the place for you. With little or no crime the is a really relaxing place to be.
