Villa Jolec is a beautifully appointed 3 bedroom villa furnished to a very high standard and only 20 minutes away from the picturesque old harbour town of Kyrenia. On arrival you will find a welcome pack of fresh food and drinks awaiting you. A comprehensive guide for use of the property, pool, etc, are in the villa together with information on local beaches, restaurants and shopping etc. The managing agent will make a courtesy visit to the property on your first morning. There is a good local beach within five minutes walk of the villa.

Changeover day
Flexible on changeover day. The villa is let for complete weeks only. At the end of your stay you may choose to drive your hire car back to the airport (Ercan only) or arrangements can be made for a taxi transfer.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | All bedrooms are air conditioned. The Master bedroom with double bed has ensuite facilities. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both twin bedded and share the family bathroom. All bedrooms have small outside balconies which boast spectacular sea and mountain views. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite and family bathrooms are fully tiled with WC, shower and wash basins. There is also a downstairs cloakroom which is fully tiled with WC and wash basin. Poolside shower outside. |
| Kitchen: | The fully fitted kitchen includes electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. Newly installed for 2007 is water cooler for chilled water on tap. A good range of crockery, cookware and utensils has been provided. |
| Utility Room: | Utilities in kitchen, see above. |
| Living Rooms: | The open plan lounge/dining area is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD with good selection of films and music CDs, as well as board games, magazines and books provided. The lounge has a beautiful open fire for burning logs early and late season. |
| Other: | There is a larger balcony affording sea and mountain views accessed from the first floor landing and front bedroom. Extensive terracing and pool side patio areas for sunbathing and dining alfresco. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen and towels provided for inside use only. Cleaning and linen changes provided by local management company. Pool fully maintained and cleaned twice a week. Guests are requested to provide their own towels for use around the pool and on the beach. |
Notes on accommodation
Suitable for couples, groups of friends holidaying together, and families with children - fully enclosed garden. The villa will comfortably sleep up to six adults. For larger parties of up to twelve guests we have an arrangement with the owners of another nearby villa. The villa has full gas central heating and as such is available to rent all year round.
Outside
The rear patio doors of the lounge lead directly on to a spacious terrace. The private 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, with sunbeds and parosols provided is also equiped with poolside shower. The landscsaped garden is planted with a good selection of mediterranean flowering shrubs, palms and citrus trees, with fruit available to eat in season. Further terracing at the side and front of the villa for dining 'al fresco' on the comfortable outside furniture.
Coast/Beach
Small local beach within 5 minutes walk of villa. There are safe sandy beaches a short drive away offering full leisure facilities.
Golf
The new championship golf course is now open - about 50 minutes drive from the villa.
Skiing
See Republic of Cyprus (South Cyprus) for full information of skiing facilities in the Troodos Mountains. The South of the island is now fully accessible for tourists and residents of the TRNC, although users of vehicles registered in the North have to pay a small insurance surcharge at the border, and cars hired in the North cannot be taken South.
Special interest holidays
This is a very popular area for mountain walking. Lots of local walks to join.
Travel
Flights into Ercan which is aproximately 45 minutes away by car. Flights into Larnaca are also available. To take full advantage of the area we would recomend the use of a car, although the local bus service is only a four minute walk away.
Distances
The villa is located just outside Karsiyaka village, which is west of Kyrenia (20 minutes by car).
Further details
Small shops for everyday needs can be found locally with larger modern supermakets along the main road to Kyrenia. Money can be exchanged in Kyrenia and nearby towns. Don't forget to visit the large outdoor market that takes place every Wednesday. Many bargains to be had! Restaurants catering for all tastes can be found nearby and especially in and around the harbour area of Kyrenia.
Climate: Northern Cyprus is blessed with the most pleasing climate in the whole of Europe. The winters are mild, and rarely extend beyond February, and with over 300 days of sunshine a year, the temperatures can reach into the 70s as early as March. In April and May, Northern Cyprus is at its most beautiful, with fields of wild flowers in full bloom, and the weather is not unlike that of a good English summer. June, July and August are the hottest months and ideal for sun worshippers. Not surprisingly, September and October are the most popular months, when the weather is still wonderfully warm (rarely below 80F), but the evenings are a little cooler.
Booking notes
Once a request is received an acknowledgement will be sent via email and a booking form despatched. The booking form should be completed, signed and returned within five days together with a deposit payment of 25% of the total rental cost. Once received by us the booking is then confirmed.
The balance of the total rental payment (75%) is payable not less than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to departure. The total rental payment is required if the booking is made within 8 weeks of departure.
