Only 10 minutes drive to the historic old town centre of Famagusta itself, surrounded by its medieval fortress wall and displaying ancient historical monuments, you can enjoy a mixture of history with a bit of retail therapy and culinary delights. Nearby attractions also include the famous Salamis ruins, St. Barnabas Monastery, the quaint fishing village of Bogaz and the oddity that is the ghost city of Varosa. Also close to the airports, you can reach Ercan airport in 30 minutes and Larnaca airport in only 60 minutes, which offers a greater selection of airlines and competitive prices and is only a 4.5 hr. flight from the UK.

Separate guest wc on ground floor.
Kitchen: Modern fully fitted kitchen equipped with gas & electric hob, electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, water filter machine, kettle, toaster, blender, coffee machine (espresso/cappucino).
Utility Room: Washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Children's play equipment and games.
Living Rooms: Beautifully decorated open plan area with corner-unit lounge (also covertable into 2 beds), open log fireplace and dining area accommodating 6 people.
Air conditioning, satelite TV and hi-fi system also in lounge.
Other: Wrought iron staircase takes you to first floor where you can sit out onto the balcony (table and chairs provided) and enjoy the sea views and tranquil surroundings.
Outside, a large garden is fully patiod and landscaped to allow full use of the area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included, however we would kindly ask that you bring and use your own beach towels for outside the villa. The property is cleaned upon arrival and departure and a welcome pack is provided upon arrival.

Notes on accommodation
There is dual air conditioning througout which cools in the summer and heats in the winter. The log fireplace can also be used through the winter months to give extra heat and provide a warm cozy atmosphere.

The accommodation is family friendly with large areas to run and play in the garden, childrens programmes on the satellite channels and board games and toys in the cupboards.

Outside
The property is fully tiled for convenience (as grass doesn't thrive very well in such hot climates) and there are plenty of trees and shrubs with beautiful vibrant flowers to make sitting in the garden enjoyable and relaxing. As the villa is situated at the end of the development, it sits in a quiet cul-de-sac and doesn't overlook other properties, opening its views up to the mountains in the distance.

Coast/Beach
Some of the best beaches on the island can be found in this area. Within less than a 5 minute drive you can reach six sandy beaches with sun loungers, umbrellas, restaurants/cafes and water activities, including "Glapsides" which was officially voted as the second best beach in Northern Cyprus after "Golden Beach" in the Karpaz.

Golf
The development of the first golf course in Northern Cyrpus is said to be underway and will be situated within less than 20 miles from the site.

Special interest holidays
There are scuba diving schools near the villa as well as general watersport activities such as snorkeling, sailing windsurfing, etc.

Travel
The nearest airport is Ercan Airport (pronounced Air-djan) - just 30 minutes drive from the property. However, Larnaca Airport, on the Greek side, is becoming more popular due to the many airlines that fly in, shorter flying time and cheaper fares. The drive across into the North takes 1 hour and you can either hire a car from the airport or take a taxi. The owner can assist with car hire arrangements and logistics.

A fast growing and expanding city, Famagusta houses the international university of Northern Cyprus with students coming from over 60 countries around the world. This is further fueling the development of the area around the university which is situated on the main road into Famagusta, filling it with 24-hour grocers, cafes, patisseries, restaurants and fashion shops (very modern fashion items for very attractive prices). There are also banks and Cash Withdrawal Machines (ATMs) along this road.

Booking notes
A deposit of 20% of the total rent is payable upon booking with the full balance due 8 weeks before departure. Confirmation of booking will be e-mailed once deposit is received. Payment must be made by cheque or bank transfer.
