Air condition is fitted to both bedrooms.
Accessibility
The property is 50 meters level walk from the parking area and is suitable for slight disablement. However the village of Karaman is set on the side of the mountain with many steps around the village which could make getting around the village difficult for non motorised wheelchairs. There are 2 steps into the apartment but once inside is all on one level. There is a handrail to assist when getting into the bath/shower.
Outside
Outside there is a pretty garden and 3 terraces with plenty of shady seating. The rear private terrace has sheltered eating area with table & chairs, Barbecue area & deck chairs. The sun terrace at the side has sun loungers & comfortable shady seating.
The front terrace (above the archway) & garden area have various shady seating areas and a childs swing underneath an almond tree.
Coast/Beach
Kervansary beach is only 5km and takes approximately 15mins by car.
Golf
Korineum Golf & Country Club is only 30 minutes drive along the east coast.
Special interest holidays
Guided mountain walks to neighbouring villages and to Hilarion castle are available upon request. Strong boots/trainers & long socks are essential. The mountain walk to Hilarion Castle is not advisable during July & August as there is little shade from the daytime sun which is extremely hot during these months.
Travel
The local airport is Ercan which is 45 mins by car or Larnaca airport is 1 hr 30 mins away. Airport transfers can be arranged.
Car hire comes highly recommended as there is no public transport to/from the village. We can arrange this for you, details & prices upon request.

Kyrenia (Girne) is 10km for Shopping, harbour, restaurants
Karaoglanoglu 4km for supermarkets, banks & restaurants
Lefkosa (Nicosia) 25km for shopping, walled city, Mosque & museums.
Famagusta (Gazimagusa) 80km for ancient walled city & Salamis ruins.
Bellapais Abbey 15km for Abbey & music concerts
Karpas Peninsular 150km for Donkey sanctuary, beautiful beaches & unspoilt area.
Further details
Within Karaman village there is a local shop, bar, pub and restaurant. The shop offers a good selection of groceries, frozen foods, wines, spirits & tobacco. There is a small book & video/DVD library, and offers internet access including a wireless hot spot at a small charge. A 5 minute drive takes you to Edremit village and the Hideaway holiday complex which is open to the public. Here you can use the pool, restaurant and bar. There are many leisure activities locally including Mountain Paragliding, Horse riding, sailing, boat trips, wind surfing, Jet ski and Scuba diving including try dives for beginners.

A 15% deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable bond of £100 is payable with the balance to cover breakages etc, and will be refunded to your bank one week after departure.
