Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. This is for a max. of 4 adults. Gas and electricity is included but excessive use of air conditioning may attract an extra charge. The hot-tub is £25 per week extra if required.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday. Vacating time is by 10am.
Arrivals - please arrive after 3pm to allow time for cleaning.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning in all rooms. Second bedroom is reached by an external stone stairway which is not recommended for small children or the elderly/infirm. This room has a large balcony suitable for lounging and offering lovely views to the sea. A welcome pack will be there for you when you arrive.

Outside
There is a large patio/courtyard which is totally private being surrounded by a high stone wall. A superb 'hot-tub' spa is a recent addition that is available at an extra charge of £25 per week, please bring your own beach towels. The hot tub will be cleaned & set up ready for use for you if requested. Hot spa or cool water, your choice. Very private. A grapevine gives shade over part of the courtyard. Outside loungers & furniture supplied.

Coast/Beach
It takes approx. 25 mins to drive by car to the beaches, as the new road has now been completed. Turn right at the end of our road & keep straight on to the sea!!
There is car parking at all of the beaches. Pissouri Jetty is the closest to offer all of the necessary facilities. Less well known is Avdimou bay where there are two recommended fish restaurants. For very quiet bathing Paramali offers only a beach with an adjacent car park.

Golf
Golf courses are about 30 mins drive away.

Skiing
Skiing facilities available in the Troodos mountains but enquiries would have to be made by hirer.

Travel
A car is essential and we can make an introduction to known local hire companies if requested. Car will then be waiting for you at the airport. Paphos Airport is about 40 mins drive. Limassol approx. 30 mins drive.

Distances
Pakhna is on the southern slopes of the Troodos, above Episkopi Bay. It is well placed for visiting the popular tourist locations in the Troodos. Omodos which is famous for it's monastery is the closest leading on to Platres. The Paphos/Limassol highway is 15 mins to the south and offers direct access to Paphos and Polis to the west and Limassol and beyond in the other direction. Pakhna is an ideal centre for touring, with many circular routes possible.

Further details
The house is in Pano Pakhna, the older part of a small typically Greek Cypriot village. There is a good supermarket a short walk away. Most of the houses are stone built with private courtyards and a quaint road plan. Kato Pakhna is the more developed half of the village which would be reached by car in a few mins. There you can find a bank, police station, butchers, further supermarkets and a good restaurant. Vasa, a car drive away, a little further up the road also offers a good variety of restaurants with good English spoken. The views from our balcony and other vantage points around the village and on local roads offer vistas over Kourion beach, Akrotiri peninsular and Pissouri.

Local guided walks are available, which take in wine tasting at the family run Monolithos Winery in Pakhna, ending with a meal at the Linos restaurant in Pakhna. These are free, you only have to pay for your meal which is around C£6.

Booking notes
To book please contact the owner, preferably by phone, to discuss any details. A deposit of 50% of the price is required on booking and full payment 6 weeks before arrival. An additional £100 refundable deposit will be required with the final payment as security against damage or loss.
