Accessibility
There is a lift, providing easy access for young children or those with mobility problems. Also a car parking space is provided below the apartment.
Outside
A table and chairs and 2 loungers are provided on the veranda including BBQ and drying rack. There is a good size communal pool shared by the apartments with plenty of loungers and showers. Also beach chairs and cool bag provided.
Coast/Beach
Kapparis is an area of outstanding unspoilt beauty, within easy walking distance there are 3 lovely beaches, Firemans Beach, Malama nearest and includes water sports and Ayia Triada with its beautiful fishing marina and church. For the explorers the coastal path can be followed through to Ayia Napa and Protaras providing many secluded beaches along the way and fascinating nature and historic churches. The path continues beyond Protaras to the National Park of Cape Greko.
Travel
The apartment is just 45 minutes from Larnaca by car or taxi. Paphos is a 2 hour drive away but an easy route and there are some very good flights year round. Driving in Cyprus is much the same as the UK but without traffic. This is a new apartment for 2010 and perfectly situated for the local facilities and beaches. There is a supermarket and bakery within 3 minutes, perfect for breakfast. On the road through Kapparis there is a wide choice of local and international cuisine, along with trendy coffee bars and tavernas and car hire. The 3 local beaches offer seclusion and variety and there is no need to venture further unless you wish to do so. The town of Nicosia is well worth a visit as is the delightful market town of Paralimni (Cyprus' answer to Kensington!) where you can enjoy a coffee in the square and feel a million miles away from home.

We have just bought this lovely apartment in the lovely area of Kapparis, an area with a lovely mix of residential and holiday owners. We love Cyprus, the people, the culture, the wonderful year round climate and the unspoilt nature of the surrounding area.
We thoroughly recommend it and hope you will too!
We are a busy active family of four and this lovely complex and accessibility to the beaches makes it a perfect family retreat.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted a property in an area that felt more than just a resort. Kapparis has excellent year round facilities and feels like part of the local area too. Mythical Sands ticked the box for us on all fronts - great location, access to three beaches and variety of restaurants and friendly bars all within walking distance. Cyprus is so easy to drive around that should you want to explore you can with ease and safety.

Top floor apartment providing a private varanda not overlooking the complex and other holiday makers, arguably making it one of the best located apartments on Mythical Sands.
