The villa benefits from fully landscaped gardens to the front and rear with off road parking facilities for 2 or more vehicles. Around the pool you have 6 loungers with sun umbrellas, small tables and the all important 1 of 2 BBQ's, not forgetting the magnificent views of Five Finger mountain. A short walk will get you to a rugged coast line with small bays and coves with some bars.

Notes on accommodation
Ideal for couples, families, and groups of friends. Sleeping 6 comfortably. Prices quoted are for six occupancy. Generous discounts for couples. famillies of 3/4/5. The villa has air-conditioning throughout. Bottled water cooling machine which includes a small fridge in the base, perfect for a chilled bottle of wine/beer. Insect zapper. Baby equipment is also provided including cot with bed linen, high chair and potty. Two bar-b-ques, 1 at the pool side and one on the roof terrace. Also a washing machine is included in the roof terrace utility room.
Outside
To the rear of the villa, 3 patio doors (2 from lounge and 1 from the master bedroom) lead onto a spacious terrace, which we use as the breakfast area, which overlooks the pool and landscaped gardens. To the front of the property there is a very large car port under grape vines, and landscaped gardens. Guests are more than welcome to pick the fruit from the many fruit trees, which include lemon, apple, pear, grape, banana olive and mandarin.
Coast/Beach
A 15 minuet walk to a rugged coast line with small bays and coves. A short 10 minute drive brings you to safe sandy beaches, offering water sports, bars and restaurants.
Golf
About a 50 minute drive, in the village of Essentepe there is Korineum golf and country club, and this is reputed to be a championship standard course. but I have not tested it.
Special interest holidays
For the energetic, you have coastal walks, and of course many walks through Five Finger mountains. Scuba diving can be arranged through the property manager on arrival or during your stay. Jet ski and other water activities are available and directions will be given by the property manager. A short drive away there is an aqua park offering slides and pool activities.
Travel
There are 2 ways of traveling to North Cyprus.
1. Ercan airport in the north. The following airports operate a service to Ercan. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham and Manchester.Taxi Transfer to the villa is approx 45 Min's.
2. Larnaca in the south. All the major airports in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, north and south service Larnaca.Taxi transfer time is approx 1.5 hours.
Car hire is highly recommended. Car hire and airport transfers can be arranged with the property manager.
Distances
The villa is about half mile from the village of Karsiyaka, which is a small village, approx 10 miles (20 min drive) to the west of Kyrenia. An aqua park is a 10 minute drive, in the village of Lapta. St Hillaron castle is just outside Kyrenia on the Nicosia road, which is approx 30 mins. To the bazaars of Nicosia you are looking at 1 hour. The ruins of Pollis is 1hr 30 Mins, Famagusta 1hr. 40 mins and the Panhandle is 2 hrs. All timings are approximate.
Further details
In the close vicinity there are local small supermarkets serving your every day needs. With a short drive you have the larger supermarkets. Along the road to Kyrenia there are numerous bars, restaurants, take aways and shops catering for all tastes. (You could be there for a year and eat in a different place each night). In the main town of Kyrenia we have the infamous harbour with, it's quaint bars and restaurants and tranquil settings.

Cancellation charges. 8 weeks deposit = 20%. 5 weeks deposit +30% = 50%. 3 weeks deposit + 50% = 70%. 1 week = 100%.

About the owner
Hi and thanks for looking, my name is Colin. I have been married since 1975, and have 2 lovely daughters, also 2 very special granddaughter's. The name of our villa is Villa Kardrea. That name came about by using parts of our daughters names. I have lived and work in Birmingham since birth. I used to take an active role in most sports football, cricket, rugby, squash and any others that came along. The only squash I do now is the arm chair I use to watch it all.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We purchased this villa in North Cyprus as we felt it was value for money, and an investment for the future.
We went on holiday there and fell in love with the area and the people. The local people are so friendly and helpful, The area we chose for our villa has it all. Fantastic mountain views, peace and quiet around our own private pool, or a visit to a sandy beach with bars restaurants and water sports. After a 20 min drive you are in the hustle and bustle of the local town of Kyrenia
