Notes on accommodation
The villa is very comfortable with all needs catered for and suitable for families and couples. Sleep 6 plus baby, travel cot and bedding supplied. Blackout blinds in all the bedrooms keep them cool.
No all female/male parties accepted and strictly no smoking inside the villa. No pets allowed.
Accessibility
Not really suitable for disabled persons as there are steps at front and back entrance doors also stairs inside leading up to bedrooms and bathrooms.
Outside
Private 6x3m swimming pool with shower (safety fence now installed) please remember that toddler's and young children should always be supervised whilst playing outside and around pool area. Space for sun loungers table 6 chairs and parasol and brand new Barbecue. Front of property has a large sitting area to catch the evening sun, gates and drive for car.
Coast/Beach
Ayia Napa beach and resort with water park is approx 15 mins drive. Protaras beach is 20 mins drive, other beaches can be found nearby. A car is recommended as the villa is in a village location.
Golf
There is a golf course in Dekelia which is approx 30 mins drive.
Travel
Larnaca is the nearest airport distance to villa approx 45km (25 mins drive) transport can be arrange but a car hire is recommended, care hire companies are within Larnaca airport but can be booked cheaper on the Internet, taxis always available at airport.
Distances
Avgorou village is a 5 min walk and has supermarkets, 24 hour bakery, butchers, chemist, shops, and banks, here you will find friendly tavernas, cafes, and pizza takeaway etc, several churches children's playground swings etc and a museum and lake.
Further details
Avgorou has all you need for a quite peaceful holiday, yet is within driving distance to all Cyprus has to offer. Paralimni, Protaras, Ayia Napa, Larnaca are all within driving distance and have some lovely beaches and usual tourist day and night attractions, you are never far from a beach or shop in Cyprus and the locals are very friendly people speaking good English but like you to try a little bit of Greek!
Avgorou is near to the border of Northen Cyprus and you can cross over if you wish, there is a small zoo and lookout point near Paralimni where you can see Northern Cyprus and find out more about the history of the invasion in 1974, which is quite interesting. Cyprus is a lovely sunny Island, warm enough for holidays throughout the year, but can be very hot in July and August. There is plenty to do all over the island.
Cyprus drive on the left, with one main motorway from Larnaca down to the southern/eastern areas you should never get bored in Cyprus, there are excellent shopping areas in all the towns where you can buy almost anything.
Booking notes
A 25% non refundable deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure. A £200 security deposit is required and will be refunded if no damages or breakages occur.
