Perched on a mountainside, in a tranquil location, with fantastic views to the sea and the Five Finger Mountains, the villa is just inside the boundary of Alsancak village, 10km from Girne (Kyrenia). The villa is private and has its own pool and a well established garden. It is not overlooked and offers a real sense of spaciousness. The villa borders mosque land on which other building is not permitted, so gives uninterrupted views. The sea is a 5 minute drive away and there are plenty of good restaurants close by. Plenty of local dive and snorkeling opportunities.

Notes on accommodation
French windows leading from all bedrooms onto balconies. Plenty of outdoor furniture, including sun loungers and mattresses, deck chairs and cushions, Weber barbecue. Solar panels provide hot water, which in cooler months can be topped up by an immersion heater. Water pump fitted to ensure good water pressure. All bedrooms with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Air conditioning units can be used as room heaters in cooler weather, in addition to the open fireplace. A welcome pack with local information and food and drink to get you started will be available on arrival. Our local manager (English) will visit shortly after you arrive to make sure everything is satisfactory. Sally can also be contacted in case of emergencies or for general advice.

Accessibility
Access to pool area from living area down 2 steps. Inside house, the bedrooms are two steps up from the living area.
Outside
Covered and uncovered terraces. Well established garden. Private pool (8x4m). Plenty of outdoor furniture, including 6 sun loungers, tables (large and small) and chairs, deck chairs, Weber barbecue.
Coast/Beach
Local beaches are a five minute drive away. Plenty of beaches all around the area.
Travel
Approx 1 hour from Ercan airport in the North, and about an hour and a half from Larnaca airport in the South. Car hire is available on request. Pick up can be arranged from either airport on request. Cost of transfers are included in car hire fee.
Distances
Alsancak village is less than a kilometre away. Girne (Kyrenia) is about 10km. Nicosia about 45 minutes drive. away. Salamis Roman ruins just over an hour away.
Further details
Good local supermarkets, fishmongers and butchers; plenty of good restaurants catering for all tastes. ATM machines available everywhere. Not all restaurants take credit cards but many will take UK sterling cash.
Supermarkets will take credit cards and often use chip and pin. Car rentals can be paid using UK sterling cheques. Plenty of activities available, such as snorkeling, diving, para-gliding. Lots of casinos.
Booking notes
Bookings are secured by payment of a 20% non-refundable deposit into a designated bank account. Full payment required six (6) weeks prior to arrival date, except in cases of late booking, when payment is required on booking.
