One of the best natural beaches in Cyprus where tortoises swim and lay their eggs in the sand is only 10 minutes drive. Latchi port with its famed fish taverns is 5 minutes drive, 'the baths of Aphrodite' with its beautiful nature paths is 10 minutes drive. Two golf clubs are near Polis, Tsada Golf Club is 30 minutes drive and the Secret Valley Golf Club is 50 minutes drive. Monasteries and picturesque villages, where you can buy local wine, are within a few minutes drive.

The studio comprises of a small traditional kitchen, with a breakfast table, two stools, refrigerator, electric oven/hob, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and a dishwasher. The room comprises of a double bed, a sofa, an armchair a coffee table, a flat screen Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and a shower room. Air-conditioning. There is a private garden with a wooden garden table and four chairs. |

Notes on accommodation
The properties boast several additional features, including wireless Internet access, two safety deposit boxes, 2 hair dryers, 2 irons, 3 bicycles provided for guests, and a lap top which can be rented locally.
Due to the sensitive nature of the properties and their contents, we are regrettably unable to accept bookings from parties with children under the age of 14 years.
Smoking is not permitted inside the properties.
Bed linen and towels are supplied, not beach towels. The villa is thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. Bed linen is changed every week. Additional services are available at extra charge.

For people with minor mobility problems, we recommend the Persa studio.

Outside
The gardens are beautifully maintained with plenty of colourful flowers, there is a variety of herbs, vegetables, fruit trees. Several seating areas around the garden ensure you can enjoy the tranquility. A wooden decking area boasts a spa pool which can be heated, with two sun beds and four deck chairs, an umbrella, a pool side shower, two tables and eight chairs. The traditional clay oven and the antiquities mix with the comfort of today and create a nostalgic atmosphere.
The sky is blue 350 days a year in Polis. Whatever the season, most of your holidays will be spend enjoying the outdoor area. We recommend the months of October, November, March, April, May for people who prefer mild temperatures.
July, August ideal for people who prefer warm starry nights, also you can enjoy the sea in late afternoons.
June,September are warm with cool nights, ideal for people who enjoy quiet beaches.
December, January, February ideal for people who seek an escape from heavy winters.
Coast/Beach
Polis the Sea Lover's Paradise. Warm crystal clear seas. There is a variety of water sports, such as paragliding, jet skiing, banana boat riding and canoeing. Windsurfing, sailing and deep water fishing can be enjoyed all the year round. Discover the magic of the underwater world by snorkelling or diving off the Akamas coast. 'Asprogremos' beach is highly recommended 10 minutes drive from Vasilion. The 'camping area' beach is a 10 minutes walk from Vasilion, a combination of forest and sea.
Golf
1. Tsada Golf Club is only 30 minutes drive from Vasilion. Tsada Golf Club - an 18 hole golf course to the north of Paphos and elevated 550m above sea level and situated near the village of Tsada. It was the first grass golf course in Cyprus and was built in 1994.

Skiing
The Cyprus Ski Club. The Troodos mountains spring to life not only in the middle of the hot summer as a cool refuge and holiday resort, but also in winter, as this is the skiing centre for Cyprus. Yes it is true, swim in the morning and ski in the afternoon, or vice versa of course. Here you can take advantage of the pleasures of winter sports under the beautiful blue Mediterranean sky. Mount Olympus has several ski slopes and is fun for skiers and players in the snow of all levels and age.

Among the complex there is Despina house (Reception Area) where we meet and welcome our guests, and offer them the local coffee and home made traditional treats. At the request of our guests we can offer Cypriot cookery courses.

Larnaca Airport is a 2 hours drive. Paphos Airport is a 40 minutes drive. Car hire can be is available at both airports. Taxi services can be found in both airports.

Nicosia the capital of Cyprus is 2 hours drive. Ayia Nappa is 2:30 hours drive. Larnaca is 2 hours drive. Limassol is 1:25 hours drive. Paphos is 40 minutes drive.

Vasilion is in the center of Polis:'where past meets present' a variety of local shops, kiosks, souvenir shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream kiosks are all within walking distance. There are several wineries in the area, on the way to Panayia Village you can taste the local wine then drive a little further to Chrysorroyiatissa monastery. Drive into the countryside and visit some picturesque villages like Droushia with its tapestry museum, Ineia with its basketry museum, experience the traditions of centuries at Sterna Winery set in the heart of the vineyards of Kathikas village. Picturesque Pomos village with its small port, Pachiamos village with the church of St Raphael. Further is Pyrgos Village, one hour drive from Vasilion.
