The studio apartment is on the lower terrace of our stone built village house, adjoining the garden which contains fruit and nut trees, and overlooks the wild game reserve with wonderful views to the sea at Akrotiri. It has its own entrance and stairway and a large sunny patio area. Use of the pool is included. If you wish to experience life in a traditional Cyprus village this is the place to stay.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Euros also accepted. Price for 3/4 persons staying in the apartment is £25 extra per week. Water, electricity and gas are included but air-conditioning and winter heating are an extra metered charge. For long winter lets there is a 5% discount.

Access to the apartment is by stone steps.
Outside
There is a large, sunny patio terrace outside of the apartment next to the fruit tree garden which is very private, it has a table and four chairs, parasol, sun loungers and a gas barbecue for guests' use. There is also another table and four chairs in the fruit garden area.There is an 8 x 4m swimming pool on the next level which is shared with just the owners of the property.
Coast/Beach
It takes about six minutes to drive to Kourion beach and ten minutes to Melanda beach. Kourion is safe for swimming, has 3 tavernas for lunch or refreshments. Melanda beach is further around the bay, slightly rocky but very peaceful. Lady's Mile beach is 20 minutes away but has a long sandy beach and safe shallow swimming as well as several tavernas on the beach.
Golf
There are two international standard golf courses at Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills which are about 20 minutes away.
Skiing
Skiing facilities are available in the Troodos mountains but enquiries would have to be made by guests.
Special interest holidays
This quiet and peaceful area is extremely interesting to any keen bird watchers, birds seen in the garden and reserve include Rollers, European Bee-eaters, Hoopoes, Nightjars, Golden Orioles, Cyprus Warblers, Cyprus Pied Wheatears, Cyprus Cuckoo and a rare sighting of a Griffon Vulture among numerous other bird visitors. Bird watching trips can be arranged. The area is also very suitable for artists, walkers and mountain bikers.
Travel
We are 25 minutes from Paphos Airport and 55 minutes from Larnaca Airport. A hire car would add considerably to the enjoyment of your stay, we can recommend a very reliable local firm who can arrange for your car to be at the airport.

Distance to Episkopi and Erimi 8kms. Kolossi 12kms. Limassol 18kms. Paphos 58 kms.
Further details
There is a coffe shop in the village and a taverna/pub at Souni also a tearoom and small supermarket. There are supermarkets, bakeries, bank, pharmacies, filling stations, restaurants, pubs and take aways in Episkopi and Erimi - 5 minutes by car. Major supermarkets and shops are available in Limassol 15 minutes by car. There are several historical sites in the area including the mosaics and Museum at Kourion or a visit to Kolossi Castle. Leisure activities include horse riding at Kourion, Go-carts at Episkopi, the water park at Fasouri, bird watching at the Salt Lakes, walking and mountain biking in the reserve. Visits to the various wineries on the Cyprus Wine Trail. Wine Museum at Erimi.
Booking notes
To book please contact the owner by phone or email to discuss any details. A deposit of 25% of the apartment price is required on booking and the full balance plus a £50 refundable damage/breakage deposit payable 6 weeks before arrival. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will be refunded if the apartment is able to be rebooked, if not, your 25% deposit is forfeited.

Words cannot do this location and apartment justice. The apartment was lovely, everything you could need for a holiday in Cyprus though with so much to do in the area we didn't spend too much time at the apartment. Hiring a car meant we could explore the area with Audrey and Andy's helpful advice on where to visit and even booking a table for us at a wonderful restaurant. A truly romantic get away, we actually got engaged whilst watching the sun set in the apartment garden! We arrived to be greeted by the owners, and we left saying goodbye to friends. About the owner
We retired to Cyprus in 2006 with our dog and found this beautiful renovated stone village house in wonderful countryside surroundings. It came with a very attractive studio apartment situated in the lower garden.
Our village is a quiet and friendly place but close to the amenities of Epskopi and Erimi, Courion Beach and Museum is just 6 minutes away and you can be in Limassol in 15-20 minutes. Paphos airport in 30 minutes and Larnaca airport in 55 mnutes.
We're ideally centrally placed for access to the coast, the Troodos mountains and the golf courses at Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley.
We try to ensure our guests really enjoy their stay and are on hand if you want any advice on places to visit the best places to eat out that help you to experience the real Cyprus that we love
