Centrally placed apartment with access to all local facilities. 10 minute walk to the sea and 10 minute drive to the beach. Access to all local shops and restaurants. 20 minutes drive to the Cornia golf course. Centrally located for St Hilarion Castle, Kyrenia Old Harbour, Bellapais, mountain walks and lazy sun worshipping by the sea. The property is 4 years old and well maintained. It has air conditioning in the lounge and also the main bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the plates, cutlery and pans you need. There are 2 markets very close by and you can buy all your daily food needs there. There is a family bathroom with a shower and toilet and a separate toilet for guests.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. We take a 20% deposit on the cost of the rent on booking. This is non refundable. We do not accept large single gender groups.

Long winter lets are available from October to March. Please mail about costs.

Changeover day
We are flexible to accommodate any arrivals and departures as long as it does not clash with existing bookings.

Bedroom 2 with large double bed, air conditioning unit and large wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds and electric fan.
All necessary bedding.
Bathrooms: Large family bathroom with bath/ shower, WC and sink.
Guest WC with sink.
Kitchen: Cooker, extractor fan, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, all cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, pans etc.
Living Rooms: Large lounge with 3 piece cream coloured suite, coffee table and dining table with chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bedding and towels are included. Not beach towels. After each guest has left all bedding is changed and towels washed. In the winter there are also duvets and blankets available.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is on the first floor. There are two short flights of stairs. We provide a basic welcoming pack of bread, coffee, tea milk etc. We can arrange airport pick ups and a hire car if needed.
Any car hire organised via us will be paid by guests directly to the hire car company. Any transfer fees to the taxi driver.

The apartment may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Outside
The apartment is on the 1st floor. It has two balconies. The kitchen balcony loverooks well maintained gardens. The kitchen balcony has a built in BBQ!
The lounge balcony has views of the sea. Both balconies have views of the mountains and olive groves. There is seating for the balconies.

Coast/Beach
The coast is just a 10 min walk to the property. Beaches are about a 10 min drive. There are good beaches in Catalkoy and Karakum. Local hotels allow outside guests to use their pools. The most close by are The Ship Inn 5 mins drive and Jasmine Court 8 mins drive.

Golf
There is a golf course in Esentepe which is a 20 minute drive from Central Kyrenia. It is called Korinium golf club.

Travel
The nearest airport is Ercan near Nicosia. Cyprus Turkish Airways fly from the UK and Germany. Ercan is a 35 minute drive to Kyrenia. Larnaca airport is a 90 minute drive. Britsh Airways fly daily into Larnaca. Airport pick ups and car hire can be arranged if desired. Costs are dependent on the season. It is recommended that a car is hired as public transport is slow and irregular.

Distances
St Hilarian Castle is a 10 min drive. Kyrenia Old harbour is a 10 min drive. Great restaurants right by the sea can be found in Karaoglanoglu also a 10 min drive
Nicosia is a 20 min drive. Karpaz an area of great natural beauty is just an hours drive. As is Ancient Salamis Runis. In Alsancak there are good disco clubs for the summer and great beaches. There is a bustling bar scene all along Central Kyrenia main thoroughfare just a 5 minute walk from the apartment!

Further details
The local Exchange bureau is a 10 min walk. All shops and markets are very close by as are many banks. Such as HSBC, Garanti. There are some amazing clothing and shoe shops and also hairdressers and beauty salons. The apartment is a great location as it is very central but also very quiet.

Booking notes
We would prefer all bookings to be made up to 4 weeks before you intend to travel. All payments are made to our UK account. The booking must be secured with a deposit (20% of the total cost and this is non refundable) first and the remaining amount paid within 2 weeks. We will send you an email concerning receipt of this payment.

Guest comments
We stayed in 2006 and last year. The flat is a great location to get out and about! We tried all the local restaurants. You need a car in the summer as it's so hot! You don't spend much time at home as there's load to see so it's a good base to explore from! Karen and Dave, London UK
