The nearest beach is the picturesque Fireman’s Cove and is just a short walk away. The resort of Protaras is a 5 minute drive, whilst the lively Ayia Napa is less than 15 mins by car. Inland, the bustling town of Paralimni with its churches, cafe bars, shops and parks is less than 3km away. If you prefer to stay on site, the complex has its own private kidney shaped swimming pool with showers, toilets and changing area. The apartment has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens out through double patio doors onto the private balcony where you'll find a table and chairs for al fresco dining in the afternoon and evening sun.

Notes on accommodation
For the comfort of all our guests, no smoking and no pets policies apply. Linen and towels provided but guests are asked to bring their own towels for beach use. Electricity is included. The apartment has been furnished with children in mind and includes a step stool, some smaller crockery and cutlery, night lights and electric socket covers. Cots or highchairs can be made available on request. Smoke alarm and fire blanket fitted. Changeover days can be flexible. Key safe for late arrivals.
The apartment has its own covered parking space with direct access to the lift and stairs.
Accessibility
Short level walk from the allocated car space via the lift to the apartment front door. No internal steps or stairs.
Outside
The apartment has its own balcony accessed from both the lounge or double bedroom. This ample area has lighting, a table and seating for 6. There are open views towards Famagusta and over the fields to the Mediterranean.
The Blue Electra complex has a communal outdoor pool with shower, toilet and changing facilities and a large terrace with sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is less than 10 mins stroll to crystal clear waters that Cyprus beaches have to offer. Fireman's Beach is the closest and from here you can walk along the coast path to discover many more quiet coves where you can often have the place to yourselves. Alternatively, the lively long white sandy beaches at Protaras, including the famous Fig Tree Bay are just 10 minutes drive away. Cape Greco and the beautiful Connos Bay are just a few minutes further along the coast past Protaras.
Travel
Nearest airport is Larnaca (approx 60km). There are taxi and coach services, but a car is recommended to see the most of the local area. Car hire is relatively cheap and can be easily arranged before leaving the UK. There is an easy, modern highway from the airport right to Protaras. If you would like a taxi transfer arranging, we are happy to help.
Paphos Airport is about 2 hours' drive.

Ayia Napa - 15km - lively town, Europe's biggest water park, good beaches, boat trips and plenty of night life
Protaras - 5km - Family holiday resort, restaurants, beaches, entertainments
Paralimni - 3km - Unofficial 'capital' of the Southern Cyprus part of Famagusta district, bustling town, and a wide range of shops/supermarkets churches, cafes, restaurants.
Nicosia - 90km - Cyprus capital city.

Car rental is available in Kapparis, so why not use Blue Electra as a base to explore Eastern Cyprus as well, and its popular holiday destinations of Ayia Napa and Protaras, fascinating towns such as Paralimni and beautiful beaches at Fig Tree Bay, Ayia Trias, Capo Grecko and beyond. For the more active, there are plenty of snorkelling equipment rentals, boat rentals, dive shops and parascending as well as bike rentals for exploring inland.
Blue Electra is just a few kilometres from the border with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and just over an hour’s drive from the Cyprus capital, Nicosia. The popular areas of Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos are within easy reach as are the Trodos mountains which dominate the centre of Cyprus and provide a challenge for the adventurous walker.
Booking notes
To reserve the property the client should make an enquiry through this website and on confirmation a non-refundable deposit (£150 per booking) will be requested. A returnable security deposit of £100 is required to cover accidental damage to the property or its contents. The full balance is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.
