BougainVillea is located near to the unspoilt village of Ozankoy with its many restaurants and cafes. Just a few minutes from the centre of Kyrenia, the villa is in a delightful setting, situated between the Kyrenian Mountains and the sea. Set in its own landscaped mature garden with a large swimming pool, this three bedroom villa can sleep up to eight and offers luxury accommodation on two floors with a balcony and sheltered patio area. The large private secluded gardens surround the house and boast a shaded terrace, paved pool area, parking and a wealth of beautiful plants including bougainvillea from which the villa takes its name. There are several restaurants within walking distance.

Changeover day
Our changeover day is fixed during July and August and is Saturday. We are flexible about changeover day outside this peak time.
Please do not expect to occupy the villa before 1pm, and please arrange to vacate the villa before 11am.

| Living Rooms: | A spacious airy living room with tasteful decor and extremely comfortable furniture, complete with fireplace. This room is air conditioned (and centrally heated) and is perfect to relax in after a lazy day by the pool or an active day sightseeing. |
| Other: | Games, including dice, jigsaw puzzles and a couple of board games are available for guests' use. High chairs and cots can be arranged at nominal cost. |

Towels and linen are included in the price. The property is cleaned and all linen changed weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is in a quiet location, yet close to all amenities and within walking distance of a few restaurants. To the rear of the villa, there are olive groves giving an uninterrupted view of the mountains including beautiful Bellapais and St Hilarian at night.
At the back of the villa is the Orchid walk which is spectacular with wild orchids in season.
The villa is also equipped with Satellite TV and DVD player, to keep the kids busy, and also has a CD, radio casette player, washing machine and iron. Some games (cards, dice etc) and jigsaws are provided for guests' use.
The villa is fully air conditioned for summer and centrally heated for winter making this the ideal comfortable accommodation for all year round holidaying!
A welcome pack consisting of milk, bread, butter, cheese, eggs, tea, coffee, orange juice, beer, wine can be provided on arrival.
Electricity is 240v and all power sockets are standard British 13amp fittings.
Outside
The villa enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and olive groves. The large swimming pool (8m x 4m) and terrace area is great for relaxing and keeping cool. Complete with sunbeds and a table and chairs, the terrace receives sun most of the day.
There is also a shaded patio area which is a great place to eat when its very hot. Avoiding the heat of the day, this is the coolest part of the house and has another table and chairs to relax in.
The gardens have been landscaped are now mature and full of colour with bougainvillea, lantana and geraniums. Have a BBQ on the pool terrace and just chill.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is 2 minutes by car, or 10 minutes walking distance. However, we recommend Escape beach or Turtle beach for sand and the best swimming.
Golf
There is a new golf course opened towards Esentepe (approx 20 minutes). You are able to hire clubs at the course.
Travel
Ercan is the closest airport (30 minutes by car) - but you can also come via Larnaca.
Car hire is recommended to be able to fully explore the area. We can help with airport transfers and car hire if required.
Distances
The beautiful old harbour of Kyrenia with its ancient castle, excellent harbourside restaurants and bars. During the day, the harbour bustles with activity, but by night it transforms into a fairyland of lamps provided by the many restaurants and bars. (15 min by car).
Bellapais Abbey is a beautiful quiet place in the heart of the Kyrenian mountain range. This beautiful village, dominated by the abbey, has wonderful views over Kyrenia harbour and the surrounding area (10 mins by car).
Further details
Catch a boat trip in Kyrenia or arrange scuba diving, tandem paragliding or other activity. There are a number of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance of the villa.
