"ZygiMaria" is a privately owned self catering 2 bedroom villa on a large detached plot with lovely gardens and a 10m x 5m private swimming pool. Built 1km east of the renowned fishing village of Zygi with its brand new marina being built late 2008. There are no nightclubs in the village or loud pubs so "ZygiMaria" is ideal for young families, the elderly or two couples wanting the peaceful surroundings that Zygi has to offer. Zygi is a totally flat landscape so much suited for our elderly clients, it is within 100 metres from the sea and enjoys nice unrestricted views of the Cyprus countryside to the front of the villa and open views of the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea to the rear of the villa. The villa is very well laid out and is also light and airy.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Saturday and Sunday to keep up with the bulk flights days, we are very flexible if bookings allow.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 (double) and 2 (twin) are at the rear of the villa and overlooks the swimming pool and have great views over the sea from the balconies. Both bedrooms have solid wood beds, bedside cabinets, dressing tables and remote control air conditioning. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is located on the first floor and comes complete with toilet, bath and overhead shower. Hot water is supplied from solar power and also we have an immersion heater for extra hot water. A second toilet is located on the ground floor. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is well equipped to include electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, microwave oven, sandwich toaster, deep fat fryer and toaster. All cooking utensils, pans, cutlery and crockery are supplied in the cupboards. |
| Utility Room: | In the utility cupboard under the stairs you will find an ironing board, Hoover, mop & bucket, sweeping brush, halogen heater, swiffer and clothes horse for airing your washing, inflatable toys for the swimming pool and sun lounger are also available. |
| Living Rooms: | The living area will provide a double sofabed for another guest and again is solid wood. You will have the use of satellite TV with some good English channels to choose from, a DVD player and CD player are also there for your enjoyment. |
| Other: | There is also a dining area within the spacious living area and will accommodate 6 persons. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
In the fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms you will find plenty of fresh bed linen and towels, please bring large towels of your own for around the pool or the beach. The maids will not enter the villa during your stay but will wash your linen on request. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa 'ZygiMaria' has dual purpose air-conditioning and heating making it user friendly all year round. Please be advised that all of the floor surfaces excluding the bedrooms are ceramic tiles and can become very slippery when wet, caution must be taken when exiting the pool and entering the villa, especially when ascending and descending the stairs. Our villa has a strict no smoking policy for inside the villa but guests may smoke on the balconies or patio if required. Kindly obey this policy for the health of our clients.

Accessibility
Accessibility to our villa is not a problem for wheelchair users or persons with walking difficulties as it is situated on flat land and there are no steps leading to either the front or the back of the villa. Zygi village is completely flat so there are no problems for the elderly or infirm.
Outside
Our 10m x 5m private pool is secured by a regulation height safetey fence with a dual action safety gate for the safety of small children, there is also a key to totally lock the safety gate for added safety.
Outside there is plenty of free space within the private gardens of our villa with patio areas and green areas alike. The pool is a chlorine pool and gets cleaned by a local Cypriot called Andreas. To the front of the villa on the first floor there is a further balcony which overlooks the Cyprus hills, this balcony is very nice to sit and cool off as it is sheltered from the sun by the villa most of the day. The balconies at the rear of the house have sun all day long. On the patio there is a table and chairs with parasol to keep you in the shade, you will also have the use of sun loungers for around the pool. A pool shower is installed for your hygiene and we ask that you do use this facility.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Zygi is mainly pebbles but there are many beaches to choose from in Cyprus, the closest renowned beach is Governors beach and is located just 5km from our villa.
Golf
Golf courses are located throughout the island with the closest being a 20 minute drive for Zygi.
Skiing
Skiing in the Troodos mountains.

The village of Zygi is geographically positioned pretty much central for the three main cities in Cyprus making it a perfect starting point for your holiday. Limassol is 22 mile west, Larnaca is 25 mile east and both can be reached by motorway or the coastal route which takes you through more beautiful villages. From Paphos airport to the village of Zygi will take you 60 minutes and the roads are 98% motorway. From Larnaca Airport the journey will take 35 minutes and again is 98% motorway.

Booking notes
To book "ZygiMaria" a 20% deposit will be required and balance paid no less that 8 weeks prior to travel, we also require a £150 refundable breakage deposit.

Zigi Maria was an excellent choice for our holiday in Cyprus this summer. The owners of the Villa were extremely friendly when contacted for booking and gladly answered all the questions we had about the place. The directions were very easy to follow and the Villa had everything we needed with very clean rooms and swimming pool.
