A large, well appointed apartment in the unique and luxurious Patara City complex, 10 minutes easy walk from the historic harbour and old town centre of Kyrenia. The apartment offers 3 double bedrooms, toilet and separate bath/shower room, large kitchen and lounge/dinning rooms with large balcony's overlooking the complex. Set between the beautiful Besparmak Mountains and the azure blue sea, this lovely apartment offers the best of gorgeous and spacious accommodation, with access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, boutiques, restaurants, gymnasia and sauna, whist being only a 10 minute walk from the history and charm of the old harbour of Kyrenia, often described as ‘the jewel of the Mediterranean’. Kyrenia's charming and tiny harbour, full of yachts and fishing boats, is framed by the colossal hulk of its Crusader castle. With the backdrop of the jagged mountains behind and the calm sparkling sea in front, the harbour has an intoxicatingly serene atmosphere.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Discounts are offered for long term rentals of periods over 1 month. Prices are all inclusive of water/electricity charges and include the provision of towels/bed linen. Taxi transfers to and from airports can be arranged at additional cost. Bedrooms: All the bedrooms are large and well appointed with fitted wardrobes and sliding patio doors. One bedroom has a full size double bed, whilst the other two bedrooms are set up as twins. Colorful muslin valise cover all the windows and color the rooms.
Bathrooms: The apartment offers separate WC and and bath/shower rooms.
Kitchen: The spacious kitchen contains a table and chairs, but also opens onto a balcony for alfresco breakfasting. The kitchen is well appointed with a cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave oven.
Living Rooms: The large lounge/dinning room is fully glass fronted opening onto a large balcony overlooking the pool complex. A glass dining table and chairs accommodate 6 adult diners and sofa and lounge chairs provide comfort in front of the TV.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bath towels and bed linen are included and the property is thoroughly cleaned by a local agent after every booking, with all linen freshly laundered and changed. Linen is normally refreshed weekly, but can be refreshed on request for a small charge.

Outside
An outdoor table and chairs are provided for dining on the balcony's and enjoying the sunrise and spectacular sunsets. The apartment overlooks the communal gardens, swimming pools and leisure complex. The wealth of complex facilities includes a 300m2 open air swimming pool, sunbathing terraces a 150m2 covered and heated swimming pool, tennis court, shopping centre, children's playground, jogging and recreation areas, water falls and amphitheatre. The complex also benefits from private security, a gardener, gatekeeper and taxi service, whilst leases are being negotiated for a health clinic, gymnasium, pharmacy, hairdresser, florist, gift Shop, bank branch, boutique and restaurant. Patara city is a unique development in this part of Cyprus and provides the ideal base to enjoy this spectacular coastline and it's 6000 years of heritage.

Coast/Beach
The coastline around Kyrenia is beautiful and rugged with clear blue waters lapping against the rocks. Whilst it is possible to swim in Kyrenia, the main beaches are to be found to the East and West and whilst a car, or taxi, is required to reach them they are well worth the effort. Within 10-20 minutes drive are the beaches of Acapulco, Diana, Lara and Sunset, but be sure to take in Alagadi Turtle Beach where the Green and Loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs in summer.

Golf
The new Korinium Esentepe Golf and Country Club is located within a 20 minute drive from our apartment and is the first 18 hole international standard golf course in Northern Cyprus. This lovely course boasts the usual range of features, including greens, sand bunkers and water hazards. The 6,600 yards-long course is set amongst natural greenery and scenery, including mature trees and shrubs, so it feels like a long-established golf course. The greens are watered from two man-made reservoirs, to reduce the environmental impact on the North Cyprus water reserves. This magnificent course boasts a gorgeous new club house and 200 seat restaurant, bars and terrace, in which non golfers can relax whilst the golfers enjoy the use of the course buggy's to take the strain out of this 6,232m course and enjoy the spectacular views over the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Special interest holidays
A stay in out apartment opens up the fascinating and unique underwater world of Northern Cyprus, where you can enjoy one of the longest diving seasons in the Mediterranean. You can choose from over 20 unique diving sites east and west of Kyrenia as well as diving safaris to other places along the coastline. Norhern Cyprus is a totally new destination for divers, with the most exciting reef formations in the Mediterranean where you will find marine life galore and an unbelievable variety of marine species of all sizes.

The clarity and warmth of the waters provides the perfect conditions to try scuba diving or to start a full diving course (PADI BSAC) and qualify to enter this fascinating underwater world. Further information can be provided by the Amphora Scuba Diving Center website.

Travel
The nearest airport is Ercan, a short 20 minute taxi ride from the apartment, flights here stop down in Turkey for an hour before continuing to Ercan. Alternatively fly direct to Larnaca airport from most airports in the UK and we will arrange to have a taxi pick you up and deliver you directly to the apartment within approximately 1 hour of landing. The boarder crossing is easy and painless and the direct flight means that you can be in the apartment within 6 hours of leaving the UK.

Distances
Our apartment is located in Kyrenia itself, a short, 5 - 10 minute walk from the historic old town with it's magnificent castled harbour, bars and restaurants. Just a few minutes drive away, lies the fairy-tale castle of St. Hilarion, rumored to be the original inspiration for Walt Disney's 'Sleeping Beauty'. Another short drive away is the enchanting village of Bellapais overlooking the town with its ancient abbey and providing an ideal starting point for hill-walking.

Further details
As the capital of Northern Cyprus Kyrenia (Girne) offers all of the amenities you would expect of a modern Mediterranean town, including medical services, car hire, bus and taxi services and a large and varied collection of shops, banks and hotels. However it is the harbour, with it's multitude of bars and restaurants designed for alfresco dinning beneath the ramparts of the ancient castle that will keep you coming back time and again. There is covered parking available beneath the apartment for those with hire cars.

The apartment can be booked for any length of stay, subject to a typical minimum of 6 days. Changeover day's and times are flexible, dependent upon availability, allowing you to take full advantage of the cheaper flight deals you may find, particularly for high demand peak holiday periods.

Booking conditions - 25% with booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. A returnable deposit of £100 to cover breakage's to be paid with balance. Taxi's can be arranged for airport transfers.
