Changeover day
The normal changeover day is Saturday, although where possible flexibility will be offered. Guests are asked to vacate the apartment by 10.00 am. Guest arrivals should be after 14.00 to allow time for preparation/cleaning etc.

Kitchen: The open plan, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar is equipped with built-in oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, lots of storage and large fridge/freezer. There is access to the furnitured balcony direct from the kitchen with drying facilities.
Living Rooms: The large open plan lounge/dining area with feature marble fireplace, has a modern 6 seater chesterfield and stool, flatscreen TV & satellite and DVD. The dining area seats 6 at a modern glass and wrought iron table with direct access to the balcony.
Other: The balcony area overlooking the pool has table and chairs and provides the perfect setting for breakfast watching the sunrise, al fresco dining and evening sundowners. Later in the day providing a santuary for holiday reading while overlooking the pool.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Guest should provide their own pool/beach towels. There is no maid service but the apartment is fully cleaned before and after rental periods.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is stylishly decoratated in soft cream tones throughout. All windows have curtains or blinds. The main open plan living area is air conditioned and has heating if required during the winter months. A washing machine is housed just outside the bathroom for guests' use. Bedrooms have ceiling fans. As a second floor apartment with a bacony parents with young children should exercise discretion.

Outside
The garden area is surrounded by pine trees which provide a relaxed, secluded environment. The landscaped gardens, terrace and large communal pool provide the ideal setting for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Four sun loungers are provided with two sun umbrellas to protect (especially children) from the mid-day sun. The pool is professionally maintained by a third party contractor and an outside shower is available.There is ample shaded car parking should guests hire a car.

Coast/Beach
Beaches range from 10 minutes drive either by car or by the excellent local bus service. Discovery, Escape and Turtle beach are all beautiful, with Discovery and Escape both offering excellent facilities, including beach beds, umbrellas, restaurants and bars plus a wide range of watersports!

Golf
The Korineum Golf and Country Club is a fantastic Golf Course and Country Club and is based out to the east of Kyrenia on the way to Esentepe and past Alagadi Beach. Tucked away in the foothills of the Five Finger Mountain Range, the entire natural landscape has been molded, honed, prettified and perfected. There are 18 challenging international standard holes, the Course is Par 72, there are 3 academy holes and a driving range, there is the Korenium Golf Academy, a Pro Shop where you can hire or buy equipment, purchase clothing and memorabilia and then there’s the Club House. The Club House houses everything from a full fitness centre, spa, hairdresser, massage parlour and sauna to conference facilities, meeting rooms, bars and restaurants. Travel
The apartment is approximately 30 minutes drive from Ercan Airport or if entering via Larnaca or Paphos on the southern side approximately 1 hour 15 mins.

Distances
The nearest town is Kyrenia, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk right into the centre and old harour for bars, restaurants and shops.

Further details
Two mini-markets are literally a minute's walk from the apartment which stock essentials plus milk and fresh fruit and vegetables. For a wider range the main supermarkets are on the main road, and are well stocked with everything you would need including a super range of fruit and fresh vegetables, meats and drinks. A full information pack is in the apartment giving details of local places of interest to visit, suggested bars and restaurants etc. to help make your stay enjoyable.

Booking notes
Bookings are taken via phone or email. A £100 deposit is taken per week of booking. The full balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. 50% of the deposit is refundable up to 4 weeks prior to departure. Cancellations within 4 weeks of departure are payable in full. Deposits will be returned upon the guests return subject to any breakages or damage.

House swap
House swap considered during school holidays for properties that sleep up to six and have a pool. Any location considered.

About the owner
Myself and my wife bought the apartment in Northern Cyprus when our children were quite young because it seemed to offer everything a young family needed. We had been to Northern Cyprus many times staying at the friendly local hotels in Kyrenia and it seemed to be a natural step if we were planning on coming back as a family year after year to have a base here we and family and friends could come all year round. Some friends of ours used the apartment and were so impressed that they thought it was so much more modern and comfortable than other apartments they had stayed at in Cyprus that they suggested we rent it out when we were not using it. Ten years later and the apartment still looks as good as the day we bought it. We have many satisfied customer and many return each year.
