Changeover day
Changeover day can be flexible. Please note your last day may be counted as the changeover day and it may be necessary to vacate the apartment by 12 noon.

Notes on accommodation
There is an elevator in the building. Air conditioning, fans and heating (for the winter months) is available in every room. A welcome pack can be provided on request. A Baby sitting service is available and airport transfers can be arranged. Speedy internet service is available at low cost. There is a gym close by for those who like to work out while on holiday. The owner's representative is on site and available to answer any questions or issues that may arise.
Outside
The pool area has plenty of sunbeds for use and a patio set with parasol and sunbeds are available for use by the occupants on the balcony.
Coast/Beach
The nearest municipal beach, with water sports, is a 10 minute walk away. There is also a small beach over the road to the apartment. The beautiful Coral Beach can be reached easily using the bus service. It has superb watersports facilities and boat trips. Lara Bay is a rare breeding ground for green and leatherbacked turtles and is a carefully controlled conservation zone, accessed only accessed only by off-road
transport.
Golf
Cyprus is a newcomer in the golf holiday market but it is fast becoming a favourite with many travellers due to an improvement in facilities and, of course, its superb all-year round climate. The island now has three courses with Aphrodite Hills, a four star golf course, being the closest to the apartment. There is also the Secret Valley course and Tsada where the fairways are tight but overall it provides an enjoyable test of golf.
Skiing
The Troodos Mountains are a one hour drive from Paphos and there are facilities to ski here in the winter months.
Special interest holidays
Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage site that has many historical sites to visit including the Tombs of the Kings (rock catacombs dating from the 4th century BC for highranking officials) which is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Other interesting sites include the Harbour where there is a medieval fort, mosaics and various archaeological, ethnographic and Byzantine museums displaying local treasures. In the ‘old town’ of Pano Pafos inland, there is a dilapidated mosque and some Turkish baths near the market. Outside Pafos, several places associated with Aphrodite, goddess of love, add a mythical allure to this western part of the island. Off the Limassol-Pafos highway, you’ll find Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), a photogenic spot where the goddess is alleged to have emerged from the waves.
Travel
Paphos International Airport is a 20 minute drive away and Larnaca International Airport is about 90 minutes away (motorway). Transfers can be arranged.
Distances
The harbour is around a half an hour walk from the apartment. Tombs of the Kings is about 5 minutes walk away. Coral Beach is 10-15 minutes drive.
Further details
The apartment is close to all local amenities including the Elysium hotel and St George's church where weddings are held. There are plenty of banks with ATMs and it is near to supermarkets, pubs and good restaurants. The restaurants vary from Cypriot tavernas to high end, top class restaurants. A new resort and spa recently opened and is only a 5 minutes walk away. For those who like to shop there are good shops in Paphos including Debenhams, M&S and Next. Designer shops are also available on the seafront along with many opticians where fair priced designer glasses and/or sunglasses can be purchased.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is payable at time of booking with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. A £150 deposit will also be payable at time of balance and will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return.

About the owner
We are a married British couple with 2 grown up children. We love to travel and Cyprus is one of our favourite places to visit. There is lots to do in Paphos but if we choose to do nothing we feel like we are at home here with all it's comforts. We try to go to the apartment as often as possible and we keep all fixtures and fittings up to date and well maintained. Our caretaker lives close and is available for any support or advice needed.
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased the apartment in 2004 after falling in love with it's wonderful location and it's fantastic views. The sunsets from the balcony are breathtaking. We love our home from home and have had some very complimentary feedback from past guests who have loved it as much as us.
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is situated in a great position and it is close to many good bars and restaurants. Banks and ATM machines are situated close by as are shops for every day needs. Transport is easy as the regular bus service stops outside the apartment every 15 minutes. For a small charge it will take you to Coral Bay in one direction or to Kato Paphos in the other. Coral Bay has great water sports on offer at a reasonable cost. Kato Paphos has a new promenade where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere and people watch. Relaxation is definitely one of the benefits you get here.
