Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning (and heat) in living room and bedrooms. Electricity used over 70 units per week will be charged on top of rental price at 40p per unit. 10 units per day will provide all power necessary for lighting, ceiling fans, TV, dishwasher run once, fridge, and approx 3 hours of air-con.
Accessibility
This is a ground floor flat and although suitable for people with mobility issues there is one step to get up to the front door from the path. Plenty of car parking and flat path to front step. The shower cubicle does have a small step up to into the shower.
Outside
3 patios - one front and two back. Outdoor furniture: Two sun beds, a dining table and 4 chairs (indoor chairs can be taken out if more seating required). 6 swimming pools. There is a small BBQ with rack for patio cooking or a communal BBQ by the pools.
Coast/Beach
There are two pebble/rock beaches on the complex but lovely sandy beaches exist locally - a car is required. Hang gliding, jet skiing, boat trips, aqua diving and other water sports available at various locations nearby.
Golf
Approx 500 metres to entrance of Korenium golf course. A fabulous course with breathtaking views. A rental car is recommended for your stay (prices from £20 per day) or you can call and ask golf club to come and collect you and take you back. Skiing
Nearest skiing is in the Troodos Mountains in Southern Cyprus in the winter. Approx 1 hour drive.
Special interest holidays
Walking in the mountains is breath taking. Several Turtle Bay beaches nearby where the turtles come up to lay their eggs in the sand. (May to July) There is a local nature park to visit. The eggs hatch out July to Sept time. There are two spas locally one with a Turkish Bath (thoroughly recommended).
Travel
Ercan is nearest airport in Northern Cyprus 30 mins drive to TBV fly from UK via Turkey. You can also fly to Larnaca in the south, and get a taxi back to the complex. - about 1.5 hours drive. I can help with planning car hire or airport pick ups on request. Easy Jet now fly to Larnaca from Gatwick at excellent prices.
Distances
Esentepe village about 1 mile. Kyrenia (Girne in Turkish) is about 12 miles or 15-20 min drive (depends on traffic), where there is a beautiful harbour, shops and castle.
Belapais is a beautiful village in the mountains where there is a lovely old monastery well worth a visit. Nice little shops and restaurants.
Further details
There is a mini-market, outdoor gym, indoor gym, 7 swimming pools, tennis courts, basket ball courts, mini golf, children’s play ground, chess board, Bistro and a pub. Currently The Golf club has a fabulous restaurant and they will pick you up so you can have a drink. The nearest village is 1 mile away - Esentepe where there is a post office, supermarket, restaraunts, hardware shop, hotel with nice restaurant. Bigger shops are approx 6 miles (12km) away. There are buses to Kyrenia fun but not reliable.
Booking notes
You will need to book your dates provisionally with me: then book your flights within 3 days. You must then pay a deposit of £150 per week within 3 days to confirm the booking. Rent for period booked will be required at least 8 weeks before departure. Instructions on where to find key and directions will then be dispatched to you. Once the key is returned your deposit will be refunded less any charges for electricity used in excess of 70 units per week and any damages/losses to the apt.

It is the small things that make a holiday great and I have furnished my luxury apartment. with the extras to help make your holiday more enjoyable. I spend many weeks at the apartment myself so it is very much home from home. All I can say is 'Try it and see - you won't be disappointed'!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The area is very attractive with the back drop of the moody mountain range with the beautiful contrast of the crystal blue sea coastline - an authors/artist dream. For me the area is the nicest part of the island and 5 minutes drive from the new harbour under development. The site is 20 minutes drive out of the hustle and bustle of the main town Kyrenia which is easily accessible by car, taxi or for a bit of fun the local dolmus (shuttle minibuses). The village of Esentepe is 5 minutes drive up into the mountains has all facilities that you may require. The site itself is a fully contained complex for those who do not wish to venture out. It is one of few on the whole island which has it own water supply providing continual water via the desalination plant, a rare and precious commodity.
Unique benefits of the property
My apartment is deliberately situated away from a pool yet there are 3 pools within 50-80 yards this gives holiday makers a choice of being with the noisy crowd or some peace and quiet lying on the sun beds on the patio with sea view. The apartment is also 50 yds from the supermarket and 60 yds to the tennis and basket ball courts. The outdoor gym, children's play area and crazy golf is 200 yards away. I have installed a dishwasher, a good hairdryer, washing machine, TV with DVD player, iPod deck, CD player for you convenience to enable you to have a more enjoyable holiday with all your home mod cons to hand.
