Living Rooms: Very large open plan lounge situated upstairs approx 12m x 12m. Table and 8 chairs, leather suite 3 + 2 + 2. TV, DVD, VHS, 2 x patio doors leading out onto large balcony with bistro type patio set for 4.
Other: Spacious entrance hall, marble staircase leading to upstairs lounge, doors to all other downstairs rooms.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bath and pool towels provided. Linen plus spare set provided for each bed. Cleaning service can be arranged locally if required at extra charge. Pool is maintained locally twice weekly in summer season and once weekly winter time.

 

Notes on accommodation
There are Calor type portable fires that are available should heating be required & portable radiators. The main bedroom now has air-conditioning/heater, and the guest bedroom has Calor gas radiator, however, electrical units in excess of 30 average units per day will be chargeable at 12 per unit used, this can be monitored at the side of the villa for your own peace of mind and will be deducted from deposits held/invoiced separately. The average use has been calculated including pool & fridge freezer use during 2007 by guests, to date no extra charges have been made (April 08).

Accessibility
The pool area is not accessible by wheelchair. If requested, a ramp will be provided to access the front of the villa. The internal lower floor of the villa is accessible by wheelchair and three bedrooms are located on lower floor, as is the kitchen/diner. Some help may be required to access outer patio area over the patio door opening.

Outside
Private pool approx 5m x 12m, ladders at shallow and deep end. Lovely pergola with patio furniture poolside plus bench to enjoy the sea views. Wooden patio table and bench under covered area plus gas BBQ. Off road parking for several cars. Lovely sea and mountain views on the edge of quiet village.

Coast/Beach
Drive time to various beaches 12/20 minutes. As it's a small island, there are lots thereafter to suit all tastes.

Golf
Tsada Golf club, located 15km on the outskirts of Paphos 550 metres above sea level, set in the grounds of 12th Century monastery in a gentle valley. 18 hole championship standard golf course, driving range, putting green, pitching and chipping area, restaurant and bar. Course features:- par 72/71, course length 5794m, changing rooms, tennis court, pro shop (boutique & golf equipment rental) PGA qualified resident golf instructor. Handicap requirements Men 28, Ladies 36, those without certificates may only play during low season. Contact details on request.

Skiing
Troodos mountains (Mount Olympus) approx 1 hour away, ski in the morning at Troodos and sunbathe in the afternoon in Paphos (subject to weather!) Ski equipment hire, plus shops selling gloves, hats and scarfs and usual Cypriot delights.

Currency from January 08 is the euro.

Travel
Paphos Airport 20 minutes by car, the house is not in the flight path, they come and go away from the island. Limmasol port is 1 hour by road. Transportation is essential. (Not provided). Taxi can be arranged from airport to villa (approx 20 CYP for 5 passengers), Car hire companies will deliver to airport for your collection and drop off.

Distances
Armou is a village above other surrounding villages, it has a morning bus service from the village centre to Paphos the main town, which has numerous restaurants, places of interest, beaches, harbour and castle, mosaics, ruins, Tomb of the Kings, etc. The Village has a coffee shop, bar/taverna serving Kebabs and daily specials there is also a village bank...It is hoped that there will soon be a kiosk for daily quick shop provisions. Supermarkets are 10 minutes drive from villa.

Further details
Paphos old town starts with Arch Makarios III Avenue, leading you to the covered market with rows of side street including market and shops of all kinds. Various mini markets, souvenir shops mixed in with bars and restaurants are all along the front of Paphos. Slightly out of sea front you have Next, McDonald's, Pizza Hut etc. 4 golf courses on the island, plus go-karting 15 minutes away to the left of Paphos as is the Water Park, Horse Riding, quad biking, children’s mini playground dodgems and rides plus cafeteria.

Cheque, pay pal(50/50 on pay pal fees of 3%) or cash. £250 damages/cleanliness/tidiness/key return deposit required, refundable subject to no breakages, clean & tidy villa upon leaving, plus return of keys (if paying damages deposit by Paypal the Paypal comm/charges will be deducted before refund.
