This beautifully furnished apartment has air-conditioning in both bedrooms and the main open plan lounge dining room. There is an en-suite to the master bedroom as well as a family bathroom. A private terrace has uninterupted views sea views. Our pool is out of the front of the apartment and is one of 6 (1 heated) on the complex. Outside the apartment has been landscaped with very old Olive trees. The complex has many excellent facilities; tennis courts, basket ball court, fully equiped air-conditioned indoor gym, outdoor gym, business centre with Internet access, supermarket, launderette, mini golf, cafe, bar. A restaurant is under construction and should be ready towards the end of 2009.

Changeover day
Please note that the property will not be available before 2pm on your day of arrival and not after 10.30am on your departure, however we try to be flexible and will endeavour to extend this wherever possible.

Bedrooms: Main bed with good quality Queen sized bed, bedside tables, lamps, clock and wall mirror. Built in wardrobes with ample storage. Patio doors lead to main terrace with sea views. En-suite. Twin bedroom has side table, lamp, built in wardrobes and mirror.
Bathrooms: The en-suite and the family bathroom are fully tiled and have a full size bath with shower over, wc and handbasin with mirror over.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen, including washing machine, hob and oven, large American style fridge, glasses, dinner service, pots and pans, cutlery and all the usual extras including the corkscrew!
Living Rooms: Beautifully furnished to the highest standard; leather sofas, glass table, large rug etc. There's a wall mounted 26" flat screen LCD TV and DVD with satellite TV. There's an iPod Docking station, just bring your iPod! This room has a wonderful sea view.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are provided, but please bring your own beach/pool towels. The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival. There is a charge for cleaning on your departure of £35 payable locally in sterling.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is on the ground floor and is therefore ideal for both children and those who find stairs a bit of a challenge. Air conditioning in every room that can also be used as heating means the apartment is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The is plenty of storage space thanks to the large fitted wardrobes. The private terrace provides a place to sit and relax with a drink while you watch the sun go down after a hard days sun bathing!

Accessibility
It is possible to drive almost to the front door, the apartment is on the ground floor, easily accessible for all and once inside the accommodation is all on one level. A smooth footpath provides easy access to the nearby swimming pool.

Outside
The complex has six swimming pools, two tennis courts and a basket ball court. The private terrace, which can be accessed from the lounge and main bedroom, has table, chairs & umbrella, sun beds & uninterrupted views of the sea. The restaurant is conveniently situated just a short walk from the apartment overlooking the sea. The resort is brand new for the 2008 season and has been landscaped to include mature Olive trees, palm trees, a stream and footpaths. There is a beach situated at each side of the complex with others within a short distance.

Coast/Beach
There is a beach at each side of the complex and a huge choice of others within a short drive. These are quiet sandy beaches where you are more likely to be sharing with Turtles rather than tourists. Another excellent swimming location is Alagadi or Turtle Beach. This is the next one along the eastern coast road and is actually two bays separated by a big sand dune. The bays are home to nesting turtles and as a result they are protected.

Golf
The apartment is within 500m of the new 21 hole Korenium golf club, which opened in 2007 and is in fantastic condition. In terms of what’s on offer – well there are 18 challenging international standard holes, the Course is Par 72, there are 3 academy holes and a driving range, there is the Korenium Golf Academy, a Pro Shop where you can hire or buy equipment, purchase clothing and memorabilia and then there’s the Club House. The Club House is an impressive and beautiful building; it houses everything from a full fitness centre, spa, hairdresser, massage parlour and sauna to conference facilities, meeting rooms, bars and restaurants.

Special interest holidays
This area is steeped in history. Kyrenia has its historic castle and is within driving distance another castle, called Buffavento is near Esentepe and finally Kantara castle is a bit further up the Esentepe road. The Karpaz Peninsular has many white sandy beaches. The roman ruins and amphitheatre at Salamis, the larger cities of Famagusta and Nicosia are also worth a visit. Other activities such as horse riding, water sports and the main golf course in the region are all easily accessible.

Travel
Flights to Ercan, we use Kibris (Cyprus Turkish Airways) and have found them very competitive. Ercan airport is about a 30 minute drive, taxi ride. These flights are not direct, however you only touch down at one of the Turkish airports for long enough for passengers to get off and new passengers join (you stay on the plane). Alternatively fly to Larnaca and take a taxi or drive north (taxi fare circa £50), about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Distances
Ercan (North Cyprus) airport is about 30 minutes. Larnaca Airport (South Cyprus) is about 1 hour 20 minutes. Kyrenia is approximately 15-20 minutes. Esentepe 5 minutes. Golf Course 500 metres. Sea 5 minutes walk.

Further details
On the Esentepe road 15 minutes drive out of the harbour town Kyrenia, this brand new 4* complex is situated on the sea side of the road within 500m of the new 21 hole Korenium golf club. It has two small beaches on either side of the complex and is situated next door to Turtle (Alagadi) beach where turtles nest between May and September. It's 10 minutes from the local shops in Esentepe. There are many historic places to see on the island such as the Bellapaise monastery and the main harbour of Kyrenia town, which has a good selection of restaurants and places to see. Including Kyrenia Castle, an immense Byzantine structure, which dominates the old harbour in the town. Kyrenia Shipwreck Museum is also worth seeing. If you want the most memorable beach day out you should head up the Karpas peninsular sometimes referred to as the panhandle, and experience miles of breathtaking, untouched and wild coastline. Here you’ll see donkeys and goats wandering freely, beautiful little bays all along your route and then one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the world right at the very end of the peninsula - right at the very tip of Cyprus in fact! Truly incredible.
