Spacious villa with private pool and great facilities This recently built spacious villa is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful unspoilt village of Catalkoy on the edge of a valley filled with beautiful olive groves with spectacular sea and mountain views. The area is an ideal base for visiting the many historical sites, with a variety of outdoor pursuits including horse riding, rambling, scuba diving, sailing and a chance to visit the close by turtle project. We are only an 8 minute drive from the recently opened 18 hole Championship Golf Course. The large outside area of the villa has an overflow pool, with a brick built BBQ and patio area. All the bedrooms and lounge have dual air condioning / heating.

Outside
Your own large private pool with poolside alfresco eating area.
Sunbeds, tables, chairs, pool inflatables etc. Terrace on first floor overlooking pool area for sunbathing or eating/drinking. Large BBQ built in traditional local style.
Coast/Beach
The secluded Lara Beach with its small taverna is just a 10 minute walk across the olive groves. Vogue Beach Centre, less than ½ mile to the west, features a large pool, restaurant and full watersports facilities, whilst Acapulco Beach Club with its restaurant, changing area, sunbeds and full hotel facilities is only a further ¾ mile further on. The famous Turtle Beach where you can see turtles hatch from under the sand during September is only 2 miles to the east.
Golf
The new Korinium Esentepe Golf and Country Club is less than 8 minutes away and is the first 18 hole international standard golf course in Northern Cyprus, and boasts the usual range of features, including greens, sand bunkers and water hazards. The 6,600 yards-long course is set amongst natural greenery and scenery, including mature trees and shrubs, so it feels like a long established golf course in North Cyprus, not a new and soulless one. The greens are watered from two man made reservoirs, to reduce the environmental impact on the North Cyprus water reserves
Skiing
If you’re with us in the winter, there is skiing available in the Troodos mountains.
Travel
You can fly into either Larnaca in the South or Ercan in the North. Driving from Ercan takes only 30 mins and only 75 mins from Larnaca. We would be happy to arrange taxis and/or transfers for you at very competitive rates.
Distances
There are numerous restaurants in Catalköy village. The lovely Valley View, just up the road looking out over the sea, serves a delicious local meze. Just 5 miles away is the beautiful Kyrenia Harbour with its stunning backdrop and numerous restaurants serving unforgettable local and international cuisine. To fully appreciate this setting, enter the historic Byzantine castle and venture to the top of its fortified walls.
Further details
On arrival you will find a welcome pack of fresh food and drinks awaiting you if required. Local supermarkets have a lot of UK brands as well as fabulous deli counters. A comprehensive information pack will also be available to help you make the most of the villa and your surroundings.
20 minutes away, Bellapais Abbey sits in a beautiful traditional village setting overlooking the sea with the mountains providing an impressive backdrop. After visiting the Abbey and soaking up the views and culture, treat yourself to lunch in the Bell Tower Restaurant which is featured in the Daily Mail fine dining supplement. For an evening meal why not take advantage of their free pickup, and return service from the villa! Buffavento Castle, atop a 3000ft peak of the Besparmak mountains can be reached after a challenging climb but the views are well worth the effort. You can even see the villa in the distance! If none of that takes your fancy, how about trying out karting, paragliding, 4x4 and motorcycle offroading, fishing, waterparks, powerboating, sailing, horse riding, paint balling. Booking notes
A 25% deposit is needed to secure your booking. You can pay this either by cheque or bank transfer. We will confirm your booking either by email or post, whichever you would prefer. The balance is required 4 weeks before you travel. We will ask for £100 as a returnable breakage deposit payable with the balance. See our website for further details.
