Spacious well equipped, family friendly apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Stunning location on a quiet completed site (many rental properties in N Cyprus are on sites still under development). The site has a communal pool and direct beach access. The apartment offers loads of outdoor space, with a 1st floor terrace with sea views and shaded and sunny areas and a private roof terrace with 360 degree views of both mountains and sea. The roof terrace is perfect for a BBQs and amazing sunsets. Bar/Restaurant on site and another a short walk away with many others to choose from within the area. Bedrooms: Master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite facilities.
2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside lights, air-con/ heating, sea views and have sliding windows giving access to the 1st floor terrace.
Bathrooms: En-suite to master bedroom has toilet, sink and spacious shower.
Family bathroom has toilet, sink, bath and shower.
Kitchen: Oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, washing machine. Good selection of dishes, utensils etc and for young children we also have a selection of plastic plates and beakers. The kitchen window gives lovely mountain views.
Living Rooms: Sofa makes into a double bed. 2 additional armchairs, dining table and 4 dining chairs but 6 can be accommodated at the dining table with 2 of the chairs from the terrace. TV and DVD player, DVDs and books. Air-con/heating. Sea views and access to terrace

linen/maid service:
Apartment is cleaned prior to occupancy. Towels (not beach towels) and linen provided. Extra cleaning by arrangement (charges apply). Travel cot and booster seat supplied free of charge but you will need to bring your own cot bedding.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable for families, couples and groups of friends. For larger groups there is a possibility of a neighbouring apartment also being available for rent so please enquire. As we have 2 young children we have tried to make the apartment children friendly with the provision of plastic plates and beakers, railings for safety and some DVDs to keep them amused. We also have a small selection of games. The apartment is on the first floor however this only involves a very short flight of steps and even with a pushchair we don't find this a problem. There is air-conditioning and heating to each bedroom and the living room, so the apartment can be used by those looking for winter and spring breaks. The site is quiet and very peaceful in a fabulous location, however bars and restaurants are available within both walking distance and a short drive. The site restaurant is also very good, not to mention convenient and we would recommend you try it at least once during your stay.

Accessibility
We wouldn't recommend the apartment to guests with mobility problems and there is no wheelchair access.

Outside
The 2 terraces and unusually large outside space provided set this accommodation apart. The 1st floor terrace spans the length of the apartment and looks out over the communal pool and the sea. You can choose whether to sit in sun or under the canopied shaded area. A lovely place to sit and have breakfast every morning. Steps from this terrace lead up to the private roof terrace which offers incredible views of both the mountains and the sea. For child safety both terraces have railings high enough to prevent falls but not obstructing the views. Patio furniture, umbrella, sun loungers and BBQ are provided.
The communal pool has a small children's section to one side of the main pool and there are sun umbrellas and poolside furniture around the outside. The site has landscaped gardens and to the front is a green meadow area from which steps lead down to the beach. Surrounding the site are unspoilt farmland and meadow areas with lovely displays of wild flowers in spring

Coast/Beach
The site is front line to the coast and a small quiet beach can be accessed by steps from the site. There are also lots of other beaches both stony and sand in the area. Alagadi, a long sandy beach where turtles lay their eggs is a 15 -20 minute drive. Further afield a day trip for nature and beach lovers the Karpas peninsula is a conservation area and you will be spoilt for choice of sandy beaches.

Golf
The championship standard Korineum golf and country club is open to non members and a 15 minute drive from the apartment.

Travel
Visitors can either fly into Larnaca in the South and cross the border or fly into Ercan airport in North Cyprus which involves a short courtesy stop in Turkey (you stay on the plane). Larnaca airport is approx 1 hr 10 mins drive from the apartment and Ercan airport about 40 minutes. We can help by arranging transfers and car hire if desired. A hire car is essential to get around and get the most from your holiday.

Distances
The nearest village is Tatlisu, 5 minutes away by car. The larger village of Esentepe is a 10 minute drive. Kyrenia/Girne with it's beautiful harbour, boat trips, castle and shipwreck museum, the abbey at Bellapais, St Hilarion castle and the capital Lefkosa (Nicosia) are all under 40 minutes drive. There are unspoilt Cypriot villages to discover scattered around and further afield the Karpas conservation area with it's fantastic beaches and wildlife for a 1/2 day or day trip.

Booking notes
£100 deposit to secure booking then balance plus £125 refundable damage deposit also required 6 weeks before departure. Non smokers only inside apartment. Reasonable electricity useage included but excessive usage exceeding £35 per week may be taken from damage deposit

About the owner
Hello there. We are Peter and Susan Redmond. We fell for North Cyprus, the scenery and people when we first visited in 2006. Having looked at many sites we chose our apartment because of it's location, amazing views, the sense of peace and not least because of the fantastic amount of outdoor space the two terraces offered. As we have young children, we wanted a place that was safe for them and family friendly yet wouldn't be overrun by hundreds of other peoples children either! Being largely tied to school holidays, we don't get out to Cyprus as often as we would like and, as soon as we get back home, we long to be back in Cyprus watching the sun go down from the roof terrace.
