Peaceful location on the outskirts of the appealing local village of Tersafanou Village, which is equipped with all amenities nearby. Tersefanou Village is a quaint village with a square with shops and restauant. Friendly and cheap (swordfish steak €9). Larnaca town is only a 10 mins drive and it is just a few minutes to a choice of beaches. Balcony has sun until early afternoon, views over countryside and sea in the distance.

Tersefanou is a quaint village resort with easy access to the main routes across the island ideally situated to serve the Troodos Mountains, Limassol, Ayia Napa and Nicosia. The friendly villages around the area are welcoming and English is widely spoken. There are sandy or pebble beaches within a short drive and the climate is hot with fresh sea breezes most of the year with 11 months of glorious sunshine.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes drive to sandy beach, safe for children with shallow calm waters. Life guards. Volley ball nets. Play ground. Bars and restaurants. Pervolia beach is 3km, 5 minutes away by car. Larnaca beach is 10 minutes drive. Best natural beach is Makeney beach about 10 minutes away with its cafes, shops and small hotels. A number of beautiful beaches all around the coast line accessible by car. Water sports available at most beaches. Famous Nissi Beach 15 minutes drive.
Skiing
Skiing available during the winter months in the Troodos Mountains which is only a 45 minute drive away. Skiing equipment can be hired on arrival at Troodos. There is also an area for sledging.
Special interest holidays
Points of interest would be the lighthouse on Cape Kiti / Pervolia, the camel park with pool and kiddies rides in Mazatos (5 mins drive away), Dream World for kids on the Tersefanou road, and the village square.
Travel
Larnaca airport is just 10 minutes where you can hire cars or can catch a taxi costing £15 to Tersafanou. Paphos airport is about an hour and a half away. Car hire is recommended but not essential as there are local taxi services.
Distances
Banks can be found in the local village of Tersafanou and in Larnaca. Tersafanou village has lovely village square, tavernas, restaurants, banks and a pharmacy. Tersafanou is ideally situated for exploring this fabulous island with its ancient history.
Further details
For the adventurous there is plenty on offer from skiing in January in the mountains to scuba diving in the warm crystal waters around the whole Island. There is a superb Karting track floodlit at night just a 10 minute drive away, McKenzie beach is one of many blue flag beaches close at hand with warm safe waters for all the family and all sorts of water sports just the other side of the quaint harbour. All along the front are relaxing and pleasantly decorated tavernas, shops and cafes. For the culture vulture there are ancient ruins of Kition, the old capital, churches and monastries are abound and all stunningly decorated. The Troodos Mountains are a simple drive down the motorway and offer fresh mountain air, stunning views and georgous villages.
