This fashionable apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and balconies with beautiful views. There is allocated private parking available. The picturesque village of Emba is very close to fabulous beach of Coral Bay (10 mins by car); and Kato Paphos harbour with its archaeological sites, and lively nightlife is also only 10 minutes away by car. Emba itself is fortunate to have 3 golf courses, 1 at Tsada, the award winning Secret Valley course and finally the Aphrodite golf course (30-40 minutes away).

Changeover day
Arrival time after 4 pm and departure time for 11 am (no exceptions). Arrangements can be made for your cases to be kept in storage whilst you are awaiting your transport to the airport.

Notes on accommodation
This modern, second floor (top) apartment is fully air-conditioned for your comfort, and has everything you could need for a family holiday, or 'quality time' holiday for2. Far enough from the pool for peace and quiet, but close enough for your convenience. Situated in a culturally interesting part of Southern Cyprus; the village of Emba is an old Cypriot village with an old Orthodox church, as well as new; and has its own theatre with performances regularly available. Situated close to the artist village of Lemba, there's always something of interest for everyone in your party. The good news is the airport is only 25 mins by car (!); and food shopping is no problem - the village has its own small supermarket, and for the 'super-cooks' among you, there are many more larger supermarkets only minutes away by car. If you are no 'Jamie Oliver', and want to get away from the kitchen, there are many local tavernas/restaurants just a short stroll or drive away from the complex.

Outside
A communal tropical pool complex for the residents is situated around a patio area, with ample sunbeds and umbrellas. Changing facilities with wc's are adjacent to the pool area for guests use.
Coast/Beach
There are numerous beaches near the apartment - the best and nearest is at Coral Bay, with it's many bars and restaurants and safe swimming in the clear, blue waters of the Mediterranean, only 10 minutes drive away. All along the coastline are very interesting coves and inlets to explore by car; not forgetting turtle beach, where the turtles come to lay their eggs once a year.
Golf
Within 30-45 minutes drive, there are two award winning golf courses (Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills), as well a golf course nearer to the complex at Tsada (about 20 mins away). There is also another very interesting course at the Combined Forces Base in Eskipoti (about an hour away) - not so green, and not so expensive, but still very challenging to play a round on.
Skiing
In the winter season, Cyprus is quite unique... in the Troodos mountains (hour and 10 minutes drive away) you can be skiing in the morning and in the afternoon sunbathing by the pool (or beach if you prefer).
Special interest holidays
For those of you who are budding historians, Cyprus is a conglomerate of very fascinating sites - there are Roman sites to visit (including the amphitheatre at Curricum still in use today), Roman mosaics and ruins at St. Paul's Pillar in Kato Paphos; Crusader castles at Limassol; and not forgetting the Tombs of the Kings of Cyprus on your very doorstep (just 10 minutes drive away).
Travel
The nearest airport to the complex is Paphos, which is 25 minutes away. There are taxis available - the fare is approximately 26 to 35 euros, depending on the time of day/night. The other airport is Larnaca, which is approximately two hours away. The taxi fare from there would be between 80 to 90 euros. Buses to and from the harbour (Kato Paphos) and Coral Bay are frequent and inexpensive. Whilst car hire is not necessary, it is recommended to enable you to see all the places of interest to you.
Distances
As car hire is not necessary but recommended, and as Cypriots drive on the left (as in England) it is an easy way to see the island. The further inland you go, the less cars you will see! There are many old villages, such as Omodos, an old craft village where you can spend the day just wandering around their narrow car free streets, just 40 minutes away, just waiting to be discovered; as well as monasteries, wineries, fishing villages, etc. Maps/tourist information are readily available.
Further details
Just a few minutes walk away, Emba village has a variety of small supermarkets/kiosks and banks, with local coffee shops and tavernas for you to sit and watch the world go by and dream.
