This a spacious third floor apartment with two twin bedded rooms and communal pool, located in Deryneia, a Cypriot village situated 45 minutes from Larnaca airport (2 hours from Paphos airport) and 15 minutes Eastern seaside resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Access to a rooftop terrace gives fabulous views of the village, the countryside and the distant 'ghost town' of Famagusta. The village centre is 5 minutes walk away. It offers numerous shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, an ideal way to sample traditional Cypriot hospitality. It is in a good location for seeing the whole of the island. Ideal for couples and families who like to be close to the main resorts but also wish to be able to relax in peaceful village surroundings. The apartment is comfortably furnished and boasts everything that you should require on your holiday.

Accessibility
There is lift access from the parking and pool area to right outside the apartment door. Lift access does not extend to the rooftop terrace.
Outside
There is a private balcony with table and chairs. A large communal pool situated at the rear of the complex with changing rooms and toilets. Private allocated parking space. Access to a rooftop terrace giving fabulous views of the village, the countryside and the distant 'ghost town' of Famagusta.
Coast/Beach
The coast line around Protaras and Ayia Napa is 15 minutes drive away. There are long stretches of golden sand such as Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa and Fig Tree Bay in Protaras and small sheltered coves such as Pernera beach and Konnos bay,offering safe swimming for children. Many offer water sports, scuba diving and are ideal for snorkelling. There are many coastal paths if you fancy a stroll and there are bars, restaurants and shops in close vicinity to the beaches.
Travel
Larnaca is 45 minutes by car. Paphos airport is 2 hours by car. This is easy driving on quiet motorways. It may be worth considering flying into Paphos if you don't mind the extra travelling because cheaper flights from the UK are often offered to Paphos. Car hire is highly recommended if you want to make the most of your visit and see the area and this can be arranged for you. However if you fancy a total chill out holiday, private taxi airport transfers can be prearranged.
Distances
The village centre 5 mins walk. Paralimni 5 mins by car. Protaras 15 mins by car. Ayia Napa 15 mins by car. Nicosia, the capital city of Cyprus - 1.5 hours by car. Troodos Mountains - 2 hours by car.
Further details
Other places of interest in Deryneia are the Folkloric Museum and the Cultural Centre of Ammachostos. Deryneia is close to the border with Northern Cyprus and if you want to know more about the Turkish invasion in 1974, Anita's viewpoint is worth a visit. Visit into Northern Cyprus, a boat trip along the coast or even a cruise to Egypt. These are all possible during your stay. There are Waterparks at Pernera and Ayia Napa and an Ocean Aquarium near Protaras.
Booking notes
Prices are shown in UK pounds. A 25% non refundable deposit is required on booking. The full balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Reduced rates apply for long term rentals. This is to be discussed with the owner. Weekly bookings are preferable, however daily rates may be possible subject to availability. A £100 bond will be required and held for damages. This be returned to you upon your return home, once our rep has reported back to us.
