The villa was built in 1998 to traditional styles and craftsmanship with stone walls and beautifully finished wooden beams and fixtures throughout. Its thick stone walls will keep you cool in summer and its central heating and stone fireplace make it warm in winter. It is furnished to the highest standard with comfortable couches and armchairs. The farmhouse style kitchen has every modern convenience with eye level oven and hob, micro-wave and dishwasher and washing machine. With a beautiful huge wooden table for leisurely dining. The kitchen leads out to a large covered porch where there is also table and chairs. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a double and twin single beds and fitted wardrobes. There is a third bedroom on the ground floor with a large sofa bed if required, there is a full size shower room and WC down here. The main bedroom has an air conditioning unit and there are standing fans. With traditional style shutters Cakisdes is a cool house.

Changeover day
The arrival time at the villa is 4pm and the departure from the villa is by 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin single beds. Bedroom 3 with large sofa bed. |
| Bathrooms: | Both floors each have a large shower & WC. |
| Kitchen: | Very large American style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. There is a very large wooden table in the kitchen. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything for a good cook to enjoy. |
| Living Rooms: | There is a large lounge and dining area with big comfortable sofas, TV and a woodburning fireplace |
| Other: | Just off the kitchen, facing the pool is a lovely, large covered porch area with seats and tables. The view from here is of the beautiful Besparmak mountain range and the sea stretching all the way across to Turkey. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bath towels are provided and these and the bed linen are changed after 7 days. Guests should bring their own pool/beach towels. The villa is cleaned and prepared to a very high standard and a welcome pack of food and drink is left to greet the guests. |

Outside
The large garden is private and is regularly watered and card for. The pool is a large size one and is situated at the rear of the house to give maximum privacy and wonderful views. There is an outside shower and a built in barbecue. There is a drive for off road parking.
Coast/Beach
The lovely Camelot, Escape and Sunset beaches are all within 5-10 minutes drive away and have many facilities such as sailing, diving, skiing, restaurants etc. To find the many quiet, unspoilt beaches only takes a few minutes longer to drive to.
Golf
The new Korineum international championship golf course is only about 15 miles away and is open to non members.
Travel
The local airport is Ercan and you can fly there with a brief stop over in Turkey, Ercan is only 35-40 minutes drive away from the villa.
You can also fly into the south of the island at Larnaca and take a 90 minute drive up and through the border.
We can arrange transfers from either of these airports for you.
Distances
Cakisdes is only about 8 miles from Kyrenia town with its many shops and restaurants and castle. There are several shops and restaurants within 4-5 minute walk of the house there are many places of interest such as castles, monastery within a few minutes drive of the area.
Booking notes
20% of the total cost is required for the booking and the balance should be paid by 8 weeks before the holiday. The payment can be by cheque posted to our UK address or by PayPal.
A returnable bond of £150 is required against damage and excessive electric consumption.
